I'm 5'3", started at 158lb and I'm currently at 139ish. Feel free to add if you like! I've still got belly fat but it's shrinking slowly and steadily. My goal weight is 120lb but I might review that after another few pounds and concentrate more on lifting and maintaining. Congrats on your progress so far!

Plum crumble? Layer plums in a baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon/nutmeg/mixed spice. Make a somewhat healthier crumble by whizzing oats, brown sugar, nuts and a little butter in a food processor, scatter over the plums and bake until golden and crunchy on top and juicy underneath. Serve with Greek yoghurt (or ice…

I make myself eat some beetroot every now and again hoping that I'll eventually like it... *sigh* sadly no breakthrough yet. I do however make beetroot brownies which are a-ma-zing :) http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/749700/beetroot-brownies

Game stroganoff? I make this sometimes with a mixture of rabbit, venison and pigeon (ie very very lean meat) braised in a mixture of game stock and brandy/port/sherry depending on taste. Add some oyster mushrooms, wholegrain mustard and low-fat creme fraiche to make a thick creamy sauce. Serve with a mixture of basmati and…

I live in King's Lynn, Norfolk. King John lost the Crown Jewels in the river here in 1216. The landscape is very flat. Stephen Fry lives down the road.

I have a desk job, working 8am to 5pm. I get up at 5am to either go for a run or lift weights at home. I then either walk or cycle to work (3 miles) and walk into town at lunchtime (just over a mile each way). Then walk/cycle home. In my last job I had a 40 mile commute (so walking to work was out of the question!) so I…

I'm a born-and-bred Southerner (grew up in Surrey, lived in Hants and Wilts and have family in Somerset) but I've recently moved to Norfolk. Still spend a lot of time down South though!

Running, walking and lifting. In an ideal world I'd add skiing, ice skating, horse riding and pole dancing.

In the winter I ran with a long-sleeved sports top from the Tu range at Sainsburys. It's snug-fitting so didn't blow around in the wind and pretty good at temperature regulating (ie keeps you warm at the start of the run when you're cold, but doesn't overheat you once you warm up). Having said that, in the "random stuff"…

I'm 5'3" and I currently weigh 141lb. I'm now a UK size 10 (not sure what this is in US sizes). I'm aiming for 120lb at which point I should be a comfortable UK size 8.

I love this thread  A lovely intelligent lady I work with always says "pacific" for "specific", as in "I'm pacifically concerned about this patient" which isn't true as she can actually be quite feisty and argumentative... Oh, and there are way too many people who say "brought" instead of "bought". Argh!
