I am more concerned about slipping back into old habits to be fair as I know what I am doing and I don't want it to turn into a regular thing. I just need to get my head back into focus and not let it get out of hand as I'm not going there again!

I am in exactly the same place. Maintained for a year but recently I have fallen back into a few old habits knowing full well I couldn't get away with it for long. Got weighed this morning and I have put 1lb on. I know it's just 1 but it is from being greedy because I know what I have eaten. I am going to lose it because…

Congratulations. I can relate to some of your post. I have lost 58lbs. UK size 20 to 10. I am convinced I have a big tummy and still disregard some clothes I like when I try them on because I think I look fat in them. I have also had negative comments from some people, but I must say mainly the ones who have tried for many…

I think I will have to count forever but I can live with it. I have lost 57lbs and if this is what I have to do to keep it off, so be it.
-
Congratulations. Quoted this post as I can't say it any better!
-
52lbs gone so it's a yes from me.
-
Loyalty - but if anyone crosses the line once too often I just turn around & walk away.
-
Well done. Nice progress!

This is a tool for me. It keeps me on track! I am not interested in what anyone else eats so why would someone who doesn't know me be interested in what I eat? And yes I log the bad days as well as the good.

I'm not sure if this is my imagination but I am 5lbs away from my original target and I feel so much hungrier now than I did before.
-
Congratulations on your loss. I'm in the same place. Down 51lbs. 5 to reach my original target. I am losing about 0.5 lbs a week now. I just keep at it & unfortunately have had to accept this is the way it is with the last few lbs to go.
-
Congratulations. :)

5ft 5 53 (next week - ouch! :( ) SW 190 CW 140 GW 130 ish Really struggling now as it is so slow, frightened of losing motivation.

I went out in a skirt and high heels this weekend. I actually have lovely legs. I would never have guessed that one!! :D

You will lose some friends who see you as a threat! Just let them go.....

I had the nibblies yesterday. I knew I wasn't hungry but they wouldn't go away so I had a couple of crispbreads with cottage cheese. I actually ignored the crisps, cake & chocolate! Sent me a bit over my calories but at least I went for the healthier option. Really enjoyed it & it satisfied my craving to just eat something.

5ft 5 SW 190 CW 140 GW 133 ish!

Just keep at it. It has taken me a year to lose 50lbs but it's gone for good. I sometimes get discouraged when I see people who have lost more in less time, but as long as I keep losing slowly I am happy.

And hips too! :D

One day at a time, 1lb at a time was the best advice I got on here. I didn't think I could do it either. I am now 7lbs from my GW. I will still be here when you are in the same place. Good luck, you go girl!!

I was in an old theatre last weekend with very small seats. I had a bottle of water in my hand and couldn't work out where to put in, then I realised there was room to put it on the seat next to my legs. A few months ago I would have filled this seat and been very uncomfortable.
-
Brillliant. Thank you. I have been logging for a year and never knew this!
-
I was 49lbs heavier than I am today.
-
I think I will have to log every day of my life even when I get to my goal. I can live with it, as to me it is better than the alternative, which would probably be putting all the weight back on.
-
48lbs gone, 7lbs to go to Onederland. It's very slow now but I am happy and frankly amazed to be here. Never give up!! :)
-
Proud, happy, amazed!

I have a picture of a model in a fabulous outfit which I would love to wear downloaded on my pc at work. I click on it when I am dying for a biscuit!

Walking is wonderful & something we can all do to suit our abilities. Go for it! I I would rather be outside in the fresh air than walk on a treadmill in a gym.

I really hope this is true. It has taken me 9 months to lose 46lbs, 8lbs more to go to initial GW, but I do sometimes get disheartened when I see others losing so much more quickly.
