  • How about soup in the morning? I know it sounds strange but it feels me up a lot longer than other denser food.

  • I don't know about the aesthetic side of this argument but I'm 5'2" and the one time I was 95lbs it was terrible. I had some hair loss, my nails were too brittle to the point that I count grow them out anymore, my skin were dry and if had no strength watsoever. You mustn't fe very good at your weight right now either. I'd…
  • MFP sets me at 1200 although I don't know why. May be because I'm short? I don't need to lose weight necessarily. But anyhow I almost always eat more so my diary is in the red more often. 1200 just isn't enough for me generally. Anyone can feel free to add me :) :)
  • This I opted for drinking a coffee-flavored protein shake rather than trying to cream my coffee with whey protein the way I'd do with coffee creamer.
  • I like molasses but that's just because I like the taste. There isn't anything too bad with all those three options when used in moderation so I vote for just use whatever your tastebuds prefer.
  • Banana makes me feel uncomfortable around my throat and in my tummy. But cooked banana (baked, fried) is fine. And I can eat the other "derivations" of banana like plantains, the mini chewy banana that they sold frozen at the asian market (they taste like chewy fudge, so good) - don't know the name.
  • Once at a party I drank too much sugary cocktails, then got too drunk to stop. End up drinking close to 1000 worth of calories. Plus all the party snacks, you know, pigs in the blanket and mini chocolate tarts and the like. Woke up with a terrible hangover. Talk about epic fail ...
  • Just turned 21 last week. I log everyday so add me :)
  • May be I'm the minority here but I feel the same way with the OP. I don't try to avoid fat out of the need for losing weight or anything, but somehow I never get enough fat into my diet. I do go for the non fat options often (cappuccino with skim milk, non fat yoghurt and the like) but that absolutely is because my taste…
  • I meant to ask if I can gain muscle. Sorry for the confusion. I've edited the original post

  • I don't waste any food and buy only what I need so I never have left over. Another thing is that people throw out food on the date it expires. I only throw it out if it smells or looks like it has been spoiled. Not sure if there is anything wrong with that but I've been doing it for years without ever getting food…

  • Add me! :) I would like some friends on here for support and encouragements as well.
  • Nope. None of those works. Esp. The raspberry ketone. I don't know how people can be fooled into paying for those scams.
  • As I understand from your logic, it boils down to the PEOPLE not knowing when to stop eating. So then the problem becomes more of a lack of education than McDonald has anything to do with. Not really related but I somehow think this is similar to the rape victim blaming, you know, when girls are blamed for dressing…
  • Agree 500% with the OP. People eat too much food and become obese, the food itself doesn't have anything to do with anything. It's the PEOPLE who make the wrong choices. FYI for the people who say McDonald tastes like crap, I'm not denying anything but only suggesting, may be ou should try the Chinese/Japanese/Korean…
  • I like anything with eel in/on it. It's high in calories though but sooooo worth it.
  • I've been eating rice cakes at least 3 times a week since I was born... Okay, since I was able to remember what I eat. And to hear that rice cakes aren't supposed to be good for me.... My world is crumbling apart :(
  • We like to keep out guac fairly simple and much more avocado-y than other recipes. So just some salt, like or lemon juice (to taste depending on the sourness of the fruit), finely chopped white part of green onion, and NO pepper. No added tomato or anything because they only thin out the mix. And we don't put pungent…
  • I eat mine with furikake ( japanese rice seasoning made from seaweed ). If you like fish and sushi then you try it out. The stuff is good on everything, on rice, porridge, oatmeal, udon noodles ... :)
  • Pb2 is def. my latest food obsession. I make flourless peanut butter cookies with egg yolks, sugar and enough pb2 (already mixed with water) to hold the dough together. I also make mock padthai using pb2 + lime juice + sugar + soy sauce. Yum :) Also, my local gnc carries pb2 for $6 a jar so I didn't have to order it online.
  • For creamy dressings I find that fat free greek yogurt works just as well as mayo. But for things like tuna or egg salad, since I use such a small amount of dressing, I go for fat free sour cream for a more savory taste.
  • Honestly I wouldn't let them see, that should solve it. My family didn't want me to lose an oz and didn't understand why I try to eat healthy either. They even tried to contact a specialist to consult about my "anorexia" and I was eating 1400cal a day at 5'2" 110lbs. They mean well I'm sure you know that but sometimes…
  • Oh I forget to clarify, I haven't been to a fair in the US, only in Asia. And serving sizes are tiny (I would call it "proper" serving size tho) overseas so I was able to get the half cup serving. I sure do see the one cup tub here in the US.
  • I feel the same ALL THE TIME. My quick fix is miracle noodles (shirataki noodles). I know they have no calories and no nutrition, but for the purpose of just filling me up it does the trick.
  • Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with ice cream serving size? I eat like a medium scoop each time and never wants more. When buying ice cream at the fair or something I always buy the half a cup tub. Never understands why people would want to eat more ice cream in one sitting. But yeah I might be just weird.
  • Bump These are rather pricy, but I found my local super market carry them for $1.99 for a bag twice as big as the regular one. I eat 1 bag for 1 meal (4servings) with some light yakisoba sauce. I guess I'm just that hungry...
  • A piping hot microwave apple if it's a cold day and microwave apple slices on a rack ($3 on eBay) to make apple chips for cool days :-) I love apples
  • I'm Asian born in Asia and have a rice - dominant diet. 80% of my calories used to be from white rice and I'm not fat. 5ft2 and 106lbs. The only reason I switch to high protein diet is to build muscles, not to lose fat. My cousin born in the US has a very low Carb diet, she rarely eats more than 1 cup of rice, and weights…
  • I always keep miracle noodles on hand for that matter. Granted, it's a "love it or hate it" thing. Just stir fry without oil in a bit of sauce made from soy sauce + stevia + lemon juice + hot sauce to taste. May be some veggies as well. without veggies it's about 25 calories.
