I can't see your diary or your goal settings, but if your daily goal for protein is set at 20g I deem that to be very low. I eat between 110-130g protein a day (1g per pound of body weight) and it works for me :)

I believe the body needs good Low GI carbohydrated, the nutrients from the foods that supply it are also important or 'needed'. But each to their own. It's just my personal opinion and a suggestion that worked for me.

I suggest keeping wholegrain unprocessed carbohydrated in your diet - just keep it under 100g a day if you really want to keep the carbs lower. You will still lose weight and your body won't go into shock and put weight back on when you start eating carbs again... Don't be scared of carbs, your body needs good carbs,…

Oats, Chia Seeds and lindseel meal soaked overnight in almond milk with your sweetener of choice - yum :) (Overnight Oats)

I eat between 110-130 grams of protein per day and do not put on weight - if anything I lose it.

Ice cream and other processed sugary foods will not help you lose weight, especially at night when you're only going to bed. You need to make nutritious food choices and chose to feed yourself food with nutritional value to your health and wellbeing - your body will thank you for it in return. :)

I suggest once you've eaten, distract yourself with a hobby or a job to do. Such as reading a book... After eating we always want something more but give it half an hour - just half an hour without thinking about food and you'll get over the urge to eat more and realise you can wait untill your next meal time. I personally…

I also agree with eating 1 g protein per pound of body weight, I have been doing this for a few weeks now as well as going to the gym three times a week and i am getting toned and building muscle slowly. My hair is also so much healthier and growing faster :)

Normally a nutritious filling salad or my favourite - Cruskits topped with low fat cottage cheese, salmon, egg whites and avacado :)

Always up for new MFP friends, add me if you like :)

I suggest eating healthy foods as close to their natural form as possible. Avoid processed and packaged foods as they contain many additives and are also high in sodium etc. Stick to lean meats, wholegrains and raw natural fruits and vegies.

As long as you are happy with the way you look and YOU feel fantastic that's all that matters. I get told i'm too skinny too but i don't let it affect me anymore, i'm happy with my body and proud of the way I look and the way I fuel my body. Your happiness is all that matters :)

I'm new to maintaining as well, it's hard to come to terms with how much food I now have to fit in my belly and that it won't make me gain weight. I'm having to force myself to eat even when i'm not hungry or I keep losing. But hey, it's amazing how much food (healthy food) you can eat in a day and maintain your weight. :)

You do not HAVE to consume the total amount of calories (you can consume less if you like) but if you go over your calorie goal everyday it will take longer to reach your goal weight. The calories should also come from healthy food, not 1200 calories of bread (carbs) - you will not lose weight consuming empty and high carb…
