My first 5k was 60 minutes. I'm now down to 45. I'm SO slow, people power walk faster than me. But one day you'll get faster.. then you will get faster..

I started at 300 pounds, and with a heavy group of girls.. You can do this. We spent 2 weeks on each week. The key is to keep doing it at least 3 days a week. You lose so much if you let a week go between running. You can do this. Look at Biggest Loser people, they run like crazy.

My local world gym is 24.99 a month with a 2 year contract. free child care. classes included, and its 24 hours a day 5 days a week.

Crap food to me is any sort of over processed foods/junk foods.. cookies, cake, pasta, pizza, etc. home made or not.. though home made is at least probably better nutritionally. I can't eat any. I will instantly gain like 5 pounds.

I've found that yoga really helps me stretch everything out. Without it, I have some knee pains.

Definitely. We tried for years. My Doctor said that losing 5% of your body weight can result in better chances in conceiving. We did end up using clomid, I have PCOS, but I worked out really hard and ate very healthy for 6 months prior.

love korean food, had a korean bff, and asked her mother to teach me how to make korean dishes! I agree.. Look at YOUTUBE, and you can learn to cook.

My husband couldn't cook either, so I encouraged him to learn. Show him how to use the grill, or cook on the stove. He started making really good marinades, and then I would cook them.. Now he can make a good meal, and he usually feeds himself and our son, while I'm working out.

Not true for everyone. I see some people who can drop weight no problem.. and others hit plateaus for awhile.. and I think this is one reason. I think that processed foods have evolved over time for maximum shelf life. The more chemicals are marked ok to use by the FDA, the more they get stuck into these foods. I can't eat…

I agree.. but know that it is so true. I cannot wait to be under 200 pounds. That will be a huge accomplishment to me, and then to be anywhere near 145-160 pounds I will probably just walk around naked.

I had to cut a lot of things out. I believe that calories are not equal.. and I actually have to eat a lot more fat.

I know.. My good friend is about 160 and her height and looks good too.. Everyone is a little different.. its hard to tell what some people weight. But she said she was discouraged about the scale not moving.. shoot! she looks good right where she is!

Why are you worried about a number? That is a good weight for someone who is 5'8. You look amazing, your muscles are gorgeous. I would be *SO* happy to look like you.
