Plus, 4-5 times a week is not bad. I'd say that is better than average.

You guys make me feel bad. I try to be good about it, but I had some issues during childhood.. mine doesn't really initiate any more either.. but I really try to make an effort.. my libido is so much less than his is. I've got to make a better effort.

That seems really strange to me.

Lots of stretching. I am plagued with them, and doing yoga once a week helps extremely.
-
That is so inspiring! I would seriously suggest yoga for all runners.

I'm younger, but 100 pounds heavier.. what i did with my group is start week 1 and just do what you can. stick to week 1 for a bit before moving to week 2. We do each week twice.

I agree, your body is totally used to the walking.. I never lost much when I walked, even though I did 3 miles a day, because my heart rate didn't elavate too much. I bought a heart rate monitor and that helped a lot, cause I could see that my heart rate wasn't rising very high.. I had to get into pretty heavy exercise…

Yea, I think he might think he is trying to help, or he might be insecure. I know my husband went through that a little.. but now he is on a health kick himself, and has lost 70 pounds, he gets 'it'. You can also try some reverse psychology.. start giving 'it' up more often.. attribute it to your new stamina!

Just a point: metformin did nothing for me, and made me feel horrible. The best thing for me, was to cut the extra carbs/sugar/flour. Its a lifestyle I have to live with. It is just like celiac or a gluten intolerance, unfortunately, you just have to do it. Realize that it is a medical condition and it will become a…

I agree, 2 pounds is great for someone who has PCOS, and I also recommend looking into your carbs. I keep mine under 100 a day, preferably around 45-60.

Its like any other place on the internet..

I like the camelbak water bottles. I carry it with me. you can also get a fanny pack type of thing that straps it to your waist.
-
Use a super plus instead of a super.
-
You look great, and wear that hair so well.
-
I've never seen anything like that at my gyms. That is totally foul.
-
MFP overestimates.. when I wear my HRM, I burn approximately half.. but my heart rate isn't as high as others, for my size.
-
You have to keep trying them different ways!
-
I also recommend primal/paleo.
-
You can do this. I have over 100 to lose. I'm down about 30 now from january. Keep wanting it.. there is times your resolve will wain..
-
I don't recommend these.. too many problems and issues with bacteria and not being able to fully clean them. I DO love the camelbak sip cups though, and I just carry those.. Sometimes I take a backpack.. other times I just hold it.. but I do want a running fanny pack that holds 2 bottles.

Amazing! Congrats to you and your wife.. a family that exercises together, stays together! You guys are big role models to your cutie pie there!
-
Cool.. I love crossfit!

I'm fine with it.. We enrolled for the charter school lottery (it is public, but you have to apply and be picked) and they have to wear khakis or navy pants/shorts/skirt and navy, white or blue polos shirts.

For some people, it can cause a binge to begin though.. You have to know yourself..

It happens. My friend told me I NEEDED to do something about my weight.. and when I had lost 30 pounds (I have a LOT to lose) she started acting weird and started getting jealous.. Sometimes people don't want you to change.. for whatever reason.

Get out girlfriend. This isn't love.

I am 5'5, 32 and NEVER been thin. I looked great at a size 16 (IMO). I'm aiming right now for at least 180. I started at 299 this Jan, and I'm at 270.5 right now.

Also, just saw an article that said not to "workout" in toning shoes.. A lot of ankle/foot injuries.
