  • Congratulations on your weight loss! I'll echo everyone here about giving it time. Our bodies work with time, unfortunately, it seems you can lose weight faster than your skin can bounce back up. As the others suggested, it's time to get into a weight lifting/strength building routine, you need to fill in the gaps with…
  • ^^this If you are not exercising, eat 40g. If you are, eat at least 60g and up it until you start feeling better. Make sure they are lean choices.
  • Most seafood is good for you, but yeah, it's very much so the cost, I haven't had shrimp in almost a year :) The Armadillidiidae is better known as the land shrimp. I have had some... tastes like shrimp including the salt flavour... getting people past the idea of eating them though.... highly unlikely. Let's not mention…
  • Pretty cool!!! Very well done!!! \o/ And congrats on the 4 lovely children <3
  • Everything is bad for you if you have too much... When issues form over these products it's because you take someone who is a sugar junky and try to make them use artificial sweeteners. Great idea, except they aren't using one half a pack up to 2 packages per drink,no, they are using 4+ for EVERY drink they drink that day.…
  • Lay on your back. Lift your legs at a 45 degree angle, hold it there as long as you can. Granted this tones up your core too, but it really makes my legs sore, and I don't feel like I am going to injure myself like when I do lunges. I have lost some weight, most of it in my hip/butt/thigh area I am sooo happy :)
  • How much water do you drink? Could it be possible that these headaches and your ill feelings are dehydration? I used to get headaches every night. I ate a lot of sodium rich foods (which sounds like you are too), and I surely didn't drink enough water to support that kind of "diet". I stopped a lot of the foods with high…
  • You trying to kill me? :D
  • I really appreciate your ideas, thanks guys, really helped loosened my brain a little. It seems that I could easily combine 2 of my 1200 cal diet snacks to make 1 1400-1600 cal diet snacks and be safe. Arrain, you diet is really good, kinda like mine, healthy :) Love it, thank you for letting me look! I really like the…
  • I will have a look Arains, thank you. Here's my typical day when I am actually at home making my own meals and not relying on an outsource. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/LexiAtel?date=2013-06-25 Notice the lack of junk food? I am trying to stay away from it...or have very little, and rely more on my own food I…
  • Okay good, then I shouldn't be as worried about as I originally thought. I haven't felt ill or anything, so that's good. :)
  • That's a good idea. I could do that! Thanks for your idea :)
  • I only read diaries when someone suggests that I do, or if it's a friend... I know what you're saying though. I am one of those that eats under my calorie goals, and when I see my update and other updates (especially since I have a friend on my list that has an eating disorder) I often think... "Wow, many of us are always…
  • We are all different shapes and sizes. We lose and gain weight differently. Each person, should they have been paying attention and treating it properly, should know what their body is capable of. We can't rely on other people to provide ALL the answers because we have this system that says we should all be "average". For…
  • I should worry about it more, but I don't. If I don't meet my calorie goal and I FEEL fine, no I do not eat the spare calories. If I am hungry, then yes, I eat. And no, I do not binge eat or eat "just because", nor am I ever hungry for no reason. I don't get cravings either. For the most part I eat pretty healthy. Lots of…
  • I doubt you'll read this (from all the replies), but quitting things cold turkey is very stressful. Need to work in steps... For example: Week 1: 4 a day week 2: 3 a day week 3: 2 a day week 4: 1 a day week 5: 5 days of 1 soda week 6: 4 days of 1 soda Another thing you should do is every time you drop a soda amount,…
  • If I were you, I would consider lifting weights. It will burn off fat and tone you up. They will help get rid of some "fat" you have. I am 4'9 so I know how you feel, I am pretty heavy, but I was 115 at one time, because I had no toning though, I thought my belly was kinda fatty. This time around I am kicking that part of…
  • Awww! You look ADORABLE(!!!) and happy! GREAT JOB! Keep it up! :)
  • I feel this way all the time. It's hard to meet my calories unless I actually eat "bad" stuff. I FEEL fine, so I don't fret much about it. I eat when I am hungry, I don't eat when I am not.
  • Jealous much? To me he did a great job in changing his life to eating better and exercising (which will increase weight loss by at least 100%) In the same amount of days, I lost 10lbs, and 1 month of that was not truly dedicated (no exercise, junk food, fast food) All I did was stick to smaller proportions. I had 40% fat,…
  • Good Lord... already?! Wow... time flies. In 2014, I want to be able to wear a nice bathing suit (by Summer). :) Pretty much my only goal on my mind right now, lol, and I know I wont ge this in 2013 :o
  • I am not seeing a difference either, and I lost 10lbs so far. I am not worried. I am starting to notice and feel a change. We just got to be patient it WILL happen if you continue it.
  • You can, but it's pretty hard not to go over. Plus if you eat a lot of junk food/fast food you wont get a lot of nutrients and by doing this for many years it can cause issues when you are older. I eat fast food/junk food every once in a while, normally when I do, I try not to eat more than 1 meal a day. But yes, if you…
  • I do monthly shopping every month, with a stop here and there for stuff that wont make it through the month like cottage cheese and fruits. You need to SHOP around, it's called shopping for a reason. Make a list on what your family needs/consumes then spend a day or so price checking stores (within a 40 mile radius), if…
  • It's just amazing what 7 inches can do to someone, huh? It didn't seem like much... Anyway, I am pretty much in the same boat right now (a little heavier, but my sizes are the same as yours(when you first started), I knew I had muscle before, so that's probably where the extra lbs are coming from). I am 177(started from…
  • Great job!!! I wish I could do as much as you...My stupid feet prevent me from it... :'( I would LOVE to walk 9 miles!
  • I think if you know what your kid needs, this site is good for you. Just to keep track what she eats, and then you also have an idea where the sugar, salt, calcium, etc etc is coming from. So yeah, I would use MFP if I were you.
  • Fruits, and veggies. Most things are under moderation. I like to eat 2-4 ounces of meat with a salad or fruit, and a 1/2 cup cottage cheese for dinner. Yogurt is low calorie too! If you can adjust to making your own flavors. Canned fish is good, and also high in protein. Try to trim the fat off the meats, that adds up the…
  • Looking Good, Lady! Keep it up! And Happy Birthday!
