Congratulations, thats a nice loss for one week!

Not a bad idea. We are on W1D1 of super shred and I'm not sure how my 6'4" 300+ husband is going to survive it. Adding a little protein may be the way to go for him.

If you really are that tired then your anti depressant probably needs to be adjusted. Call your doc and see what they can do. Also if you aren't seeing a Psychiatrist specializing in med management for your depression and anxiety I would strongly encourage you to find one. I worked for a med management Psychiatrist and…

I don't like the way WW promotes eating garbage, their goal is not to help you get healthy it is to help you lose weight. During the meeting your leader will tell you to eat fruits and veggies but if you look at the snacks, bars, instant oatmeal etc that they sell there isn't any food in that stuff! I wanted to eat…

If it were me, I would continue the walking 5 days a week and if I was losing weight I wouldn't add more exercise. If I stalled I would increase the walking, or start a c25k program, or the videos whatever worked easiest into my life. I am currently doing the Ease into 5K app. It's only 3 days a week and I am losing…

I'm sorry that you going through this and I don't know your situation but if my DH told me that I would be at the bank first thing in the morning to empty any and all accounts and second on my list would be to change the locks so he couldn't come back and remove things from the house. You are in a no win situation, protect…

Bluefin software has an app called powerwalk that I would consider good training for the Ease into 5k app. http://www.bluefinapps.com/#ourapps

I don't eat back my exercise calories, I find my weight loss is greater if I don't although some people do and lose just fine. Through trial and error you will find what works best for you.

My favorite websites for recipes are skinnytaste.com and hungrygirl.com. Skinnytaste uses whole/fresh foods. Hungry Girl uses more convenience foods.

It may help to just start tracking your calories, you don't have to make to many changes. Ease into exercise, a walk a few times a week. Small steps can equal a big reward and start you on the road to health and wellness. I'll send a friend request.

Hi my name is Mary and I finished the C25K program in Dec and really haven't run much since Christmas. The weather here was brutal and while I have access to a gym I just didn't go. Now it is Spring and although it doesn't look like we will see spring like temperatures for a few weeks it is in the mid 40s so I have no…

I started the Ease into 5K app at 250 and was able to finish the program without joint pain. I did have shin splints in the beginning but stretching after my run and 2 Aleeve before my run got me through it and in a couple of weeks I felt pretty good. When I finished the program, I was running for 30 minutes, my distance…

I finished the Ease into 5K app from Bluefin a few weeks before Christmas. I trained Mon, Wed, & Fri so when I finished the app I just continued my Mon, Wed and Friday and ran for 30 min. This week I started the Bridge to 10K app. I am not fast at all but that will come with time and weight loss!

Thanks for posting this!!! I started running (C25K) October 22 I finished it a few weeks before Christmas, I started Bridge to 10K this week and I am so slow! I keep saying I feel so heavy when I run, this has to get easier as I get lighter. I am running a 14 min mile according to my app, still very slow but improving. I…

I started MFP on October 15 and I started the C25K program on October 22. I finished before Christmas I can attribute most of my 30 pound loss to this program. I have lost before while dieting but never at this rate and my body is changing. My hips are much smaller than before at this weight and my butt is lifting for…

I was reading it and I kept waiting for the punch line. It sounds like a SNL skit!

I went through the educational classes, psych eval, hours of support groups required, testing from several Doctors and was approved for surgery. What I learned through all of that is that in order to be successful you have to exercise, and eat less calories, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I need to do the same thing to…

The good news is that it gets easier pretty quickly. Just keep going and you will see improvement before you know it! I am 47 years old (48 in March) and I started at 255 in Oct. I finished the C25K program in December, I am amazed that I can run for 30 min at a time but I did it! For the first time in my life I didn't…

I sent a friend request, I am going to be 48 in a few months and am also looking for friends in the 30 and up category.

I really like the bluefin apps and if you want to continue walking they have a Powerwalking app. You can check it out here http://blog.bluefinapps.com/power-walk/ I just finished the Ease into 5k app and really enjoyed it http://blog.bluefinapps.com/ease-into-5k-running-plan/ For starter exercises I just downloaded their…

I would start W5D1. I finished the program a couple of weeks before Christmas and have continued to run 30 min 3x a week the last time I ran was Christmas Eve morning. Today I went for a run and couldn't run for the entire 30 min. I was shocked at how quickly I lost my momentum. I will never miss a running day again, it's…

Add me to the list of Disney addicts. Cruising the Dream in March for our Anniversary and hitting the parks before and after the cruise looking forward to having DH to myself at Disney. We go every October so this is a bonus trip! I would love to have some Disney loving friends!

Congratulations!!!!! It is an amazing feeling isn't it?!
-
I'm glad it's not just me, OP, I have no idea what your talking about.
-
I just completed the Ease into 5k app from bluefin. They also have an app for power walking which is incremental and tells you when to walk slow down and when to pick up the pace until you work yourself up to a 60 minute power walk.
-
Fantastic!!! What a great start to the holidays!
-
I would start the week over.
-
I finished yesterday and am planning on doing 30 min runs every Mom, Wed, and Fri. Once those become easy and at a good speed I may try the 10K app. I am also planning my first 5K in the spring and want to be able to do it easily in 30 min or less.

Do you have a smart phone? Most of us have downloaded the C25K app and just follow it. There are several apps out there for this so find the one you like best and go, go, go. We all seem to be using different apps but the results are the same, my preference is this one http://easeinto5k.bluefinapps.com/
