What a lovely story. Keeping seeking to be stronger; it sounds like you've already come far.

You're looking fantastic. More toned and more trim. Most importantly, you're making changes that affect your health for the better.

Well done. I like that you took small steps, learning what works for you and what doesn't along the way. I'm proud to have you as my MFPal. So happy for you.

Congratulations on your achievement. You've shown impressive dedication. What I find really inspiring is your sense of your own body image, something we all struggle with. Well done!

Hi Everyone! Weighed in today at 165 lbs, that's 15 lbs less than where I started, and just another 9 lbs to hit my Halloween goal. My fit test results: August September October Jumping Jacks 64 72 66 Push ups 25 (5 knee) 30 32 Sit ups 36 20 20 Burpees 10 20 16 Squats 31 33 34 So some improved, some did not. Just gotta…

Sorry to hear you're frustrated, but I can tell you that I'm inspired by this post quite a lot. I'm almost 2/3 of the way to my goal, and I find myself increasingly impatient and disappointed with myself. Don't let it get you down. You've come so far and you will make it to your goal.

You look great, strong, and beautiful. Love the smile. I'm going to start smiling more in my progress photos.

Sounds like an exciting challenge!

I'm not sure what I'll be either, but I do want to dress up this year. I'll be visiting my husband in Philadelphia, and I've already told him that I want to have a costume party.

This one was tough for me. It was easy for me to say that I did as many push-ups as I could during the 30 DS. So I kinda think I only did it…..once. :blushing: Sorry guys! I'll do better this week, I promise.

You look so much smaller, especially in profile. And your arms have changed so much! Congratulations on your loss.

I love this thread. I've been checking it periodically over the past couple days, and it always makes me smile. There are so many wonderful things I like about my body. Top of the list is that my back and neck pain is substantially reduced. I also really like that my arms and back are getting more toned. I can't believe…

I weighed in at 171 this week, one pound down from last week. :) I did better in all of the exercises this week, except sit-ups. I suspect that I may have down crunches the last time instead of sit-ups, though. I cannot believe that I did 1 push-up, much less 30!!! Great job everyone! Exercise 8/05/2013 8/30/2013 Number…

Thanks everyone for the valuable advice. This is just what I needed. I will try to take it slow, and focus on my form and breathing. I'll also check out the book and 5K Runner, RunKeeper, and C25K programs. One question though: one of the apps, I downloaded says that I should only run 3 days a week. Do you think it would…

Thanks! Will do. I tried this recipe yesterday: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2013/08/baked-eggplant-parmesan-boats-with.html It was soooo good! Looking forward to more new, exciting dishes!

This challenge is really tough for me. I haven't had a chance to try out any new recipes, but find myself eating more at meals to meet my calorie goal and not eat snacks. It's all very confusing. So my question is, if I try a new recipe, can I still eat snacks?

What a great story! I can identify with a lot in your story….loving food, your general dieting plan, among others. You look fantastic and healthy. Well done! Such a huge success! I absolutely LOVE your Miss Piggy Halloween costume. I may have to steal that. Will be sending you a friend request.

No snacks! Yoiks! These challenges are really pushing me. Thanks!

How cool is that! Good job. And what a nice guy.

**LOVE** this. You look so happy in both pictures. I completely understand the feeling where you feel just as pudgy as before. Sometimes it can seem like ages. You've achieved so much, and you're rocking those scrubs.
