@Tina It was a play on lyrics from a song, dear. :)

So glad it's not just me! My friends think I'm nuts for wanting to lose before I get pregnant. Feel free to add me :)

Oh, I love you. 28!

23?

@Skinny You look like you could be the sister of Jaleel White (the grown up version, not the dorky child).

With such a radical change, I'm almost positive you'll see a result on the scale. Don't put too much emphasis on it, though. Use your clothes as your guide. :)

I have planned "cheats" (usually about 2 meals/week). I think an entire day is excessive and unnecessary.

Please ignore all of their recommendations! I only use MFP to log (keeping myself accountable) and to gauge calorie intake. The protein/carb/fat recommendations are garbage.

Love this!!! Amazing :)

I used to do the same exact thing! Now, I pre-plan my daily meals. It keeps me from making impulse decisions that are often based on emotion and/or boredom. I eat every 2-3 hrs, but I do not snack inbetween my planned meals/snacks (not even on "healthy" stuff! Nothing. Nada.)

Love the 2nd pic! So cute :)

The preoccupation with body image. When I was 70+ pounds heavier, I never really looked at myself in any great detail. Now I find myself staring in the mirror, nitpicking every little flaw.

False. Hate dolphins. :) TNP sings in the shower.

Almonds, berries, string cheese, portable fruits (apple, banana, Cutie's clementines, etc).

The day you realize this is something you WANT to do, not something you have to/need to/should do.

Wow! Congrats! You look stunning :)

I pay $165/mo which includes full gym access, one (1hr) personal training session per week, and an individualized strength program written specifically for me.

For the most part, yes. Going "gluten-free" is only necessary if you have an intolerance to gluten. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that most of the people going gluten-free have done so because someone's sister "lost soooo much weight" doing it, not because they actually have an allergy to gluten.

"You Are My Sunshine" is one of my favorite "dark" children's songs. Check out The Civil Wars cover of it on YouTube. It's beautiful in a haunting kind of way. :)

Planning my splurges/cheats in advance has really helped with my willpower. I'm able to keep myself in check the rest of the week knowing that once I get to that particular day, I'll be able to enjoy whatever it is I've planned to have with zero guilt.

I usually have a scoop of protein powder in 8oz of unsweetened almond milk and a small banana. Sometimes I mix it up and take 3oz of yam (cooked in microwave) instead of the banana. Find something you like that has a good balance of protein and healthy carbs, and try to eat within 30 minutes of working out!

Mostly dance/elctric pop or rap. I love rock, but it doesn't do a thing for me when I'm working out. Indestructible - Robyn Put You on the Game - The Game Welcome to the World - T.I. Money, Power, Respect - The Lox Spectrum (Say My Name) - Florence & The Machine Cry For You - September Call Your Girlfriend - Robyn Brave -…

When do you go to sleep? If you're cutting off food too early in the evening, you may be putting your body into starvation mode for too long. Maybe try having low-calorie, healthy snack about an hour before bed. That way you won't be so hungry and tempted to eat something "bad." To stop snacking altogether, I suggest…

I used to think that exercise bikes were a joke, and then I used an Airdyne. Not sure what category these bikes would fall in, but they will kick your *kitten* (try doing sprints...30 seconds all-out effort, 1 minute rest, repeat). Definitely not a joke. :)

I don't believe in taking weekends "off" or even one whole day. I do, however, plan one "splurge" meal per week (I still use moderation, but allow myself to have something I wouldn't make a habit of eating regularly, ie ice cream, cake, pasta, etc). The key is in planning. If you didn't plan for it, don't eat it.

Someone once told me that my idea of fast food should be a protein shake. I've been drinking them regularly ever since. I haven't completely cut fast food (doubt I ever will), but it's a very "once in a blue moon" kinda thing for me. It has forced me to pack lunches for work, which means I am eating much healthier…
