Diabetes runs in my family, and a couple of days ago my mother got diagnosed. I have my sugar dropping or going to high and I would really like to control it and lose weight so that I am not the next member of my family to be diagnosed with diabetes.

I have the exact same problem! You hit that issue right on the nose. I find I do great during the work day because I pack my lunch and what I have is what I eat. I know what you mean, boobs and yoga suck. Sports Bra! For the issue of the blood rushing to your head, do it lightly at first not quite so long. I had the same thing and now I do yoga every day and I'm fine. Tolerance.. I guess!

I'm a vegetarian and I find it's hard sometimes to just not overload on carbs.. I try and not make pastas but I always do anyway. Plus I have a sweet tooth :(

Thanks everyone! I really like snacking keeps me for splurging between meals but the sugar and carbs is outrageous.

I'm 22 and I am 5'6 I consume 1200 calories a day but do a fair amount of walking and yoga/pilates !

Before starting on this site I had worked out to lose 36 lbs.. my starting weight was 197.6 and now I've lost an additional 2.8 since joining. So all together I want to lose about 86 lbs. Yep.. it kind of sucks but the lady who made the comment doesn't see being overweight as a problem the way that I do. She likes her body the way it is.. me on the other hand. Wish/Pray/Hope I can shred some pounds and become active again. It's just the way some bigger ladies perceive their weight.
