  • Yurbuds Inspire work wonderfully. I was complaining about my earbuds always falling out and my boyfriend got me these. They cost around $20 but are so worth it. I have been using them for 3 years now and have not had any problems.
  • Breakfast Burrito! Low carb tortilla, 1 egg, vegan sausage, refried beans, salsa, and some jalapeños!
  • Thank you for all the responses; I really appreciated it. Today is day 1, and I am going to start this journey off right. :)
  • Hi all, I'm in the same boat. I have been very inactive and eating very poorly and need to make a change! I am 5'3" currently weigh 160lbs and looking to loss 35lbs. I really need some motivate and support to help keep me on track.
  • This could be a iron issue. Iron is what helps transport the oxygen in your blood, and if you don't have enough oxygen getting to your brain you end up feeling light headed and dizzy.
  • I'm with the above poster. I bought the Polar FT4 on Amazon for $60-70. It is a simplier verson of the Polar HRMs, but it does tell you your heart rate calories burned and duration of work out which is all I needed.
  • Homemade Spicy Black Bean Soup
  • Born and raised. I love my Badgers (University of Wisconsin alumni), Packers, cheese, and Leinies Berry Weiss
  • Last week was SO crazy for me work, work and more work with never ending meetings. I didn't post my progress, but there wasn't any. I stayed the same, which I can not complain about since my eating was horrible all week long. This week I'm focusing on improving my eating once again. I've let a lot of things slip this past…

  • I love Aldi! You get so much more food for less than the other chain stores. The Aldi's near me DO NOT take credit card or check; they only accept cash and debit.
  • I love this website for dinner ideas- SkinnyTaste.com I have also learned that you can eat some of your old favorites as long as you keep your potions under control.
  • Aright, here are my goals for the next 12 weeks. Some are going to be more difficult than others: 1. Log all my food the night before and allow 100 calorie wiggle room 2. Work out 4 days a week (at least 1 day of running) 3. Measure my portions since they have been getting to big lately 4. Feel comfortable in my swimming…
  • Lettuce and Spinach-- you can do so much with it. Not only are there an infinite number of salads you could make but you can use the lettuce as a wrap (save on some carbs and calories), add sautéed spinach to a number of different dished, use it as a filler in sandwiches, and side salads are great to pair up with any meal!…
  • I'm a newbie, but I think this is just the kind of thing to help keep up on my progress. Thanks for the opportunity! • I need to constantly set new "start dates” for myself to keep motivated since I always do so well when I first start my new goal and then after a month or so it starts to fade. So here we go for the month of June. 1. No fast food 2. No soda 3. Work out 6 days a week (walking the dog only counts if it’s over 30 minutes.) 4.…
  • Are you willing to sacrifice muscle mass to loss those last 10lbs? If not then I wouldn’t worry about losing any more weight. If you want to make a change, I would focus on weight training and toning your body; the scale might not move but you will see a difference in how you look. Good Luck!
  • The only hair I dislike is back hair . I kinda lucked out because my bf's dad and uncles are pretty hairy, but he on the other hands has very little body hair.

  • I was just reading through the link posted and it said "Previous recommendations suggested that salt intake should be below 2,300 mg per day for American adults, but advised that people at risk -- those with hypertension, blacks, and older individuals -- lower their intake to 1,500 mg. That should now be the goal for all,…
  • I like egg yokes in my scramble eggs or over easy but dont like them in hard boiled eggs.
  • Now Eat This! by Rocco Dispirito. All recipes are under 350 caloires and most recipes have limited number of ingredients. All the recipes I've tried I love. Also, check out SkinnyTaste.com- she has TONS of recipes and on average the number ingredients are managable. I also love everything she posts... very yummy! I also…
  • I would make sure that is is completely cooled (maybe even in the fridge for a day) before putting it in the freezer. I would put it in a gallon size freezer bag air removed and sealed or if I'm putting in tupperware, put plastic wrap over the top and side of the food before putting the lid on (this will help keep the air…
  • I do all the cooking, but I love to cook! I just have to make sure what I'm cooking doesn't "taste healthy", in my boyfriends words, and I've become very good at it. With the help of a few cook books, some good internet sites, and my knowlegde on how to make things low calorie, lower fat, and over all more healthy I have…
  • Spaghetti squash would work well. Otherwise sauteed veggies sounds (zuccini, squash, onion, bell pepper with some garlic)
  • Oatmeal.... I could eat this all the time just put in different fruit to add variety. My favorites are strawberries, blueberries and granny smith apples.
