  • Well my boyfriend told me if I got back down to what I weighed when he meet me he would get his 6 pack back, so that motivates me alittle. But really I want to love eating healthy and exercising. I see so many people that dread going to the gym or turn their nose up at veggie or "healthy food". I have never really stuck…
  • Made last night and YUMMM. I used light Hersey chocolate syrup and even my boyfriend like them (he's not big on the whole healthy eating thing)
  • I love cottage cheese plan never anything in. But I bought fat free cottage cheese and  I will definatly have to try some of these ideas tonight. Thanks. Edit: I do like eating it with Wheat Thins
  • I'm big on bring last night dinner for lunch the next day; they heat up really well. If I don't have that as an option will whip up a salad with fresh veggies and light dressing. Another go to favorite of mine is spaghettie squash and sauce. I cook up the squash, fork out the insides, and save for later. This makes for a…
  • I'm sure someone probabley mentioned this already but Couch to 5k (C25K) is a great program for beginner runners; I know becaues I'm currenly using it and am on Week 3 Day3. I understand your fear; before C25K I never ran and had no endurance. With the C25K program it wants you to start out slow, alternation walking and…
  • Whole grains are a great source of fiber, check lables when buying breads and pastas some have more fiber than others. Fruits and veggies also have fiber in them, so try and get enough or those in your diet. Some cereal, granola, oatmeal all have a good amount of fiber in them, but again, check the lables and watch out for…

  • Alright, just did W3D1 and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Took it a little slow so I don't over do it , but think I can increase the speed a little on Wed. Happy Running
  • Bell pepper (any color) with homemade garlic hummus Bean Salad Yorgurt and Berry smoothies Eggs Spaghetti Squash Brown Rice
  • Really? That's too bad; now you just have to show all of them just how wrong they are (motivation?) You have plenty of time to prepare and I'm sure you'll do great. The reason I started C25K was because I signed up for an 8k at the end of April. I'm pushing it a little, but I have tons of support from my sister (who will…
  • I'm from WI and I'm glad we're not on the list, but a little suprised too with all of our beer, brat and cheese eating
  • I just tried it last night and loved it. I put it with my stir fry and it was pretty good. I think it would be good in place of any noodles; thinking about making pesto to put on it. I also think it would be a great added ingredient to a lot of different dishes, for example chili, lasagna, beef stew, etc. You can really go…
  • Greek yogurt... I know everyone love this stuff, but I can not eat it like yogurt. I bought one cup to try it put some granola on it and  It tasted and smelled just like sour cream, and that is not something I want to be eating by itself. I will use it in place of my sour cream, but never again plain.
  • Great question. I have never had it, but think I will try it now... Does anyone know if it freezes well once you cook it? I'm big on cooking ahead and freezing it for later.
  • I would love to join. My normally weigh in in Monday mornings, so this will fit right in. A little about me: My name is Leah; I'm 24 from Madison, WI. College really did a number on my body, and I'm not trying to fix that. I was around 115-120 in High School, and I would love to get back down to that weight. I was on MFP…
  • Aright, just finished W2D2. Over all not bad but my legs were hurting from my workout yesterday, so I'll focus more on upper body tomorrow to rest my legs for Firday. Happy Running

  • My work has a fitness center, and they offer 7 week classes for only $10, doing Yogalates this round. I also have a work out area in my basement.
  • I personally weigh in once a week, Monday mornings and I make sure I do it before eating and after going to the bathroom. By doing this I get my lowest weight of the day. I like doing it on Mondays because it keeps me on track over the weekends. I know there are a lot of people on here who weight themselves a lot more…
  • My butt... I think I have a very nice one now but when I'm at my goal weight it will be nonexistent :grumble: I'm starting to experience saggy butt syndrome with my pants.
  • My diary is open to everyone. I use to have it private, but decided there is no point in hiding it any more. If you look through it, you will notice that I don't keep very good track on weekends because these are my free days (by free I don't mean eat whatever I want, but I just dont keep track of everything. I still hold…
  • I completely agree with your way of thinking, hard work and dedication will pay off in the end, end of story. Unfortunately, not everyone sees it that way. Our society is full of convenient and easy fixes, and that is what people want when it comes to weight loss. This thread isn’t going to stop them from putting up post…
  • -Working out 5 days a week sometimes twice a day and enjoying it -My saggy butt pants  (AKA the seat of my pants are to baggy to wear anymore) -Drinking plain water and not wanting flavored or carbonated types -Saying no to a free cupcake that looked ooh so good even after someone offered to slip one with me…
