Definitely! I used the computer alone for several months before getting the app on an iPhone. Each version has its plusses and minuses.

Agreed! (edited)

Good idea to measure yourself with a tape measure and take pictures. Often others can see the difference in pictures the changes that we can't see

I lost weight in my face and neck in the beginning. I even noticed that the backs of my hands were no longer 'rounded'. I would say about 10 lbs is when I really noticed.

This sums up my experience too.

Love this!
-
That is way too funny!
-
OMG! I love this! Seriously, this topic has been done to death.
-
Agreed - love people who speak for half the world :noway:

You are marvelous! Truth is, most people are too worried and self-conscious about themselves to really notice I love this comic for that reason: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/gym

Who you calling a *kitten*?

The website mentions "We'll make sure you know exactly what you can and can't eat to lose weight quickly and easily, and when you reach your ideal size, our group work and management programme will help you to stay that way." Do you have a counselor for the group?

Thank you - you put into pictures what I have always experienced!

Me too! Only so many times I can walk to the other end of the building to fill my water bottle then walk upstairs to the bathroom then back to my desk to start the cycle all over again :blushing:

I like the Buddhist saying "There are many paths up the mountain". My path may not work for someone else - what I eat may not work for someone who has IBS, lactose intolerance, peanut butter allergies, etc, etc. I'm into moderation too! <I just changed to this profile pic earlier today - pure coincidence!

1) Stop stepping on the scale so much. It will drive you crazy. Shoot for once a week or even once a month. Your weight will vary many times a day and many times a week depending on your sodium intake, water intake, bathroom habits (I am not talking about brushing your teeth, here), where you are in your menstrual cycle,…

I just used it this weekend because I had all the fixings for a Waldorf Chicken salad, but I wanted to use less mayonnaise. I mixed 1 part full fat mayo with 3 parts greek yogurt and a little lemon juice. Not going to say it tasted just like the real thing, but it did help bring down the calories for the dish :-)

So inspiring!

AMEN!

Bravo - a 'friend' berates me for what I eat, but then she is gaga for PB2, which is powdered peanut butter. How is that cleaner/healthier/better than Teddie peanut butter which is just peanuts? I agree to disagree, but she will not leave it alone.

Fun!

Bump for later because work browser is hopelessly out of date :grumble:

You know, I am actually going to do just that!

AMEN!

This is quite the opposite of my experience. I sync with both my desktop (dongle in USB port) and/or via my iPhone. I have not had any tech issues, so I can't speak to that, but their customer service is superb. Keep your receipt and scan it in, because I have had two friends who lost their Fitbit Ones. Fitbit sent them…

Same reaction here - I'm so jaded :ohwell:
-
Let me put my tinfoil hat on before I read this one again.... NOPE! Still makes no sense...
-
I used my Fitbit One exclusively with my PC from end of May until this past weekend when I got an iPhone :-)

I used Fotor to do the one that is on my profile pic - I keep telling everyone "It's like scrapbooking, without the mess!"
