  • I want to be able to take a deep breath in the winter (like when I was a lot younger), and not have it burn. Losing the excess weight certainly can't *hurt* the asthma control effort.
  • Yeah, I'm not sure about that one myself (I have one, too, and love it. I'd definitely be interested in the answer). I don't have any suggestions, unfortunately. Last time I checked out the Total Gym website, there was nothing regarding calories burned (it's been a while since I looked, though).
  • Basically, you have a certain calorie goal, and exercising allows you to eat more if you choose (you don't have to if you don't want to). For example, if your general calorie goal is 1400, but then you really hit the treadmill and burn 800 calories, you would be still be under your calorie goal if you ate under 2200…
