Frankly, I don't think one day is going to undo what you've done. However, you have to be careful. If you are weak and accustom yourself to a cheat day and think, "Oh, that wasn't bad, just one more day...", and the cycle continues. I myself took yesterday and today off of "dieting". I am going to start back tomorrow. I…

Im on day 7 of level 2. I've had to do a great deal of modifying. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot that's aggravated by 30DS from time to time. I also dont have a sturdy floor so jumping jacks have turned into jogging in place. Also, her plank exercises are very difficult for me. The more intense crunches are hard, so…

I also have a few old navy yoga pants. I recently bought some C9 pants from Target and like those.

I have an FT4, and it does exactly what I need it to do. I like it, except sometimes the chest strap irritates me on the sternum/crest of ribs with crunches.

"If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up" The mere thought of another diet made me cringe. Its not a diet. Its a lifestyle change. And I'm ready to be happy!

Btw, 7.5 lbs a month is NOT slow. I wish I could pull that off!
-
I'm giving myself two years. I started June '13, and since have lost almost 65#. Almost halfway to my goal.

At 25 I too, was diagnosed with type two diabetes. Placed on metformin and a 1200 calorie diet. I decided to join mpg at that time and have since lowered my A1c. I this isn't about me, just wanted to say I know its hard, and way to go!! Nothing feels better than proving those doctors wrong! Keep up the good work!

First and foremost, way to go!! Getting back into it is tough, but worth it! Second, I just read your previous post... and I want to throat punch those immature brats. Your before/after pics looked awesome. Third, you're an inspiration. Keep it up!

I allow myself 1-2 a month. I log everything. I don't binge. I'm usually no more than 400-500 cals over my daily allowance. I now eat mostly what I want, just much less. Cheat days can be a slippery slope for some, so take care in those.

I'm freezing all the time, when I used to be burning up! My feet do not bother me as much. I am a nurse and live on my feet! Apnea gone!
-
I had been diagnosed with diabetes. I was 20 lbs heavier than when I got pregnant.... which was still enormously overweight. My son and husband deserve a mom/wife who is willing to better herself. Thanks to mfp, I've gotten further than I have with any other diet/gimmick.

Love this post!! My rings are loose too! My pants are a size smaller, and loose. My scrub tops are no longer snug, but baggy.

I'm happy to be friends with anyone!

I take metformin as well, and it did accelerate my weight loss. I was diagnosed diabetic, but now its considered a metabolic disordeer. I also worry about such a low carb intake, as metformin helps keep blood sugars low. My fear is that you will feel really bad, and get discouraged. Your body needs carbs. Also, it took me…

Oh how I HATE plateaus! They are the reason I gave up sooo many times before. My last one lasted 6 weeks. I believe I'm in the middle of another one... and I'm in on a dietbet. Good timing, body. Good timing....

I have another 60-80 lbs. Feel free to add me!

You can do consecutive. Its fine. I'd try to do SOME sort of running while you're gone.
-
I buy "Healthy Life" bread. Just 35 cals/slice. But definitely white bread is the devil.
-
My fave Red Robin burger, the blue ribbon burger. Its something like 1000 +\- for just the burger. JUST. THE. BURGER.
-
26 here. I'd like to lose another 80 lbs, or somewhere in that neighborhood. Feel free to add me!
-
Just joined one with a mama group... but definitely do another in a month or so!

My next weight goal (not my final number) will be new workout and casual clothes. The next may be a spa day. Final goal may be a tattoo. (My son's finger prints)

Just my opinion, maybe this is his way of being supportive? Maybe he feels he's not putting you in a position where you may inadvertantly consume calories? Maybe he is afraid he will have to deal with other men looking at you? I am Not sure. But congrats on the weight loss!

I budget everything. I try and usually manage not to spend more than $100/week for groceries for a family of three and a cat and dog. Also, we only eat out occasionally. No fast food, sit down restaurants 1-2xs a month. Two times being splurge.

* plan meals, and keep garbage you love out of the house! * a good support system (family, friends, coworkers) * when I'm frustrated with my plateau, remember it doesn't last forever * be honest about what you're eating, and don't drink your calories! * I'm all about proving myself wrong. I AM capable of losing weight and…

Agree with getting your temptations out of the house. OUT! Until you are able to pass it in the store on the shelves and say, "ew, too many calories!", don't bring it home!
-
Appreciate it. I'm aware its not transient just as I'm aware bad habits will put me back ti square one. I was rediagnosed in the sense it is now classified as a metabolic disorder.

I stuck to a 1200 cal diet (mostly), had less than 40-50g carbs each meal, as much protein and fiber as possible. As many veggies as I could muster and 2000 mg of metformin daily. I had gestational diabetes two years ago, where I was insulin dependant. After my son was born, my blood sugars seemed to level out. My OB…
