  • You look great!!! Keep up the good work!!!
  • I have the same issues with my arms!! I'm half way to my goal so I still have some to lose. My biceps look good but then when i lift my arms....ugh!!!!! I hate it!!! You look great in your dresses!!! I hope when I reach my goal I will have the courage to wear pretty dresses like that.
  • Oh my gosh! You burn 1300 calories a day? How do you do that? That's great!!! I have a hard time eating back exercise calories also. Every one has said to eat them but I haven't. Some times I will eat back like 100-200 calories but that doesn't happen often. I'm scared to.
  • I eat them regularly because of the convience. I've lost 47 pounds so I must be doing something right. :) That's not the only thing I eat but I probably eat them 4-5 days of the week.
  • wow!!! amazing transformation!!! you should be very proud of yourself!!! AWESOME job!!! :)
  • I agree. Try not to be upset or offended. Us moms always try to make things easier for our children and dont like to see them struggle so I believe your mom made this offer out of love. Not that it would be an easy out (you still have to be disciplined) but maybe she feels like it would be easier for you to go that route.
  • i am realizing that i do need to eat more. but im gonna disagree with you on the muscle thing. I know I've gained muscle. I feel it and see it. Maybe not as much as i would if i would eat more but its definatly there where there was just flab before. thanks though for your advice. i appreciate any and all help. :)
  • I do anywhere between 40-50 pounds weights for arms (pec fly, pull down and bench press) I do 10 pounds for bicep curls. For my legs I do anywhere between 70-90. Is that heavy or no? I can do 3 reps of 12 at these weights. I've thought that maybe i will start rotating cardio days and strength training days. And try to shut…
  • I only put in to lose 2 pounds a week. I am 5'5' tall and 44 years old. I do some form of exercies every day. whether it be walking 3.5 miles or going to the gym and running sometimes only a mile and sometimes 2 or 3 miles. If i only run a mile then i usually do the elliptical for 20-30 minutes. I also so some weights for…
  • I am gaining muscle. I can see it. It amazes me! and makes me happy. my legs have really nice definition and my biceps are getting there. my triceps...no so much!! ugh! and i can see muscle in my belly and back and shoulder. So yes, i am gaining muscle. :)
  • I would be happy with a 2 pound weight loss per week.
  • I'm terrified to eat more than 1200 calories. Maybe I will try to make myself eat back some of my exercise calories earned. I dont feel like I'm hungry though so its hard to eat more when I already feel like I eat quite a bit.
  • I dont expect "biggest loser losses" (but wouldnt that be nice) but I expected more than 1 pound. I was expecting more like 2 at least. Oh, well, its a new day...I'll get to my goal one pound at a time if thats what it takes. :)
  • awesome!!! what an accomplishment!!!
  • Maybe you can talk him into joining you in your work outs? Maybe he needs to lose and get healthy and he is jealous of your dedication? Have you told him how you feel? I live with my dad and when i first started dieting he would try to get me to eat all the time. I finally just had to tell him what his actions do to me and…
  • I can hear the frustration in your words. Here is my advice...and i dont mean to sound mean but....stop making excuses. If you want to lose you have to move somehow. You will feel so much better if you get some form of exercise. Even if you just get out and walk around the block a few times a day. Even if its hot...you can…
  • oh my gosh. you are an amazing inspiration. you didn't quit, you didn't give up...you fell off the horse and picked yourself back up and got back on! You deserve a great big pat on the back for that!!!! I'm so proud of you! You WILL reach your next goal, I have no doubt about that!!!! Keep going...reach for the stars. You…
  • I think I may be the winner here....One day when i went into the locker room of the gym I started to go use the bathroom before a run on the treadmill and I turned the corner and there was a woman sitting on the toilet naked with the door wide open!!! Needless to say I high tailed it out of there. I was SO embarassed!!! LOL
  • Even though you are doing weight watchers you should keep track of calories...just to know. I lost 40 pounds then hit a plateau. That is when I joined this site and last week I lost 4 pounds. I wasn't eating enough. Are you doing weight training also? I would recommend adding some weight training. Building muscle helps…
  • Hi! I just joined this site and so far I love it. I have already lost 40 pounds but am only 1/2 way to my final goal. I already feel so much better and look better too!! :) Its been an amazing journey of self discovery so far and I'm motivated to continue until I reach my goal.
