I love cycling too, I have friends that also told me I'd learn to love running. If it doesn't happen soon, will stick with my other exercise choices. Thanks

This!! I am also stubborn and don't like not being able to do something. But from reading comments, think it's time to give it up. if it's not enjoyable, I'll just try something else.

I am trying to change my workout after plateauing for weeks and weeks. People on here suggested setting myself a goal. I thought running was good for me and really wanted to give it a go. I am trying to give it a go, it's supposed to help with my asthma too. I cycle, do circuit training, go to the gym and do a body sculpt…

Hi Fal, Also training for a race....march 7th, 10k, haven't run in 18 years but decided I needed a goal. Not sure I will do the full 10k running but am going to give it a go. Currently up to 3.5k. Happy to support you. feel free to add me Helen

I measure in Km so have converted and was surprised to find I had done so many miles :happy: This month so far.... Just learning to run - 12km Cycling - 103.8km 115.8 km = 71.9 miles

I'm glad I'm not alone. I can only eat bacon using my fingers, can't use a knife and fork to cut it up cause it tastes different to me and it has to be crispy to the point of burnt and then I spend ages breaking off the crispy fat to throw away. Nearly 5'5" (5 foot 4 and 3/4) Goal weight is 140lbs which is what I weighed when I got married 11+ years ago. Managed to maintain that weight for a while and was Uk size10-12. Would love to be that weight again. Only 45lbs to go :ohwell:

Been doing 5:2 since June, it has been the only diet that has worked for me in 6 years! I don't feel hungry on my fasting days, and I calorie control what I eat the other 5 days as well as exercise 4 days a week. Feel free to add me. :-)
