Turbo trainer yes or no?
I need to get back on my bike but it is getting too damn hot, 6am today was 30 degree heat and also due to the kids at home, I can't go out any earlier (that and I really just can't get out of bed any earlier, it's school holidays, think I have earned a little bit of a sleep in!) So I am looking at getting a turbo trainer…

Numb toes, is it normal?
When I use the cross/elliptical trainer or the stationary bike in the gym, I always get numb toes after about 10minutes. When I stop the exercise, the feeling quickly returns and I don't experience any pain, just slight pins and needles. Is this normal? I have asked a few friends and they say they have never experienced it.

HRM Advice
Hi, I am wondering which HRM would be best to use for cycling and running. I have looked at the Polar RC3 and RCX5 and Garmin Forerunner 310XT GPS but to be honest, I am confused as to what is best for me. Is there another watch out there I should be considering? I don't want to spend a huge sum of money but need something…

I can't give up now but really feel like I want to.
I am trying to enjoy running....but I hate, hate, hate it!! I only ran 3.5km today (had to walk a little of that) and I got back home feeling like jelly and rather emotional but didn't even have the energy to even cry. Does it ever get better!?!?!? What challenges have you set yourself?
I set myself a challenge of completing a Body Sculpt class at my gym. May not sound hard but it was a difficult challenge for me being over weight and seriously unfit. The first class I went to, I lasted a whole 10 mins....didn't even complete the warm up. I felt dizzy after 6 mins and tried to carry on but I just had to…

What to log Body Sculpt as??
I have started a body sculpt class at my gym and I have no idea how to log the exercise. It's a combination of aerobic/cardio followed by weight lifting, abs, squats and then back to cardio. Anyone have an idea please? Thanks

Am I being mean?
I love the gym but hubby hates it and needs support to lose his weight which means he wants to cycle. I hate cycling but should go to help motivate him. My issue is the heat. I know I need to stay hydrated but I never seem to have enough water and end up feeling snappy, crabby and resentful cause I am so thirsty which…

How long before friends notice you've lost weight?
I have put on some of my 'safe' clothing (am sure we all have some, the trousers that fit even if you gain 4lbs) this weekend and have found they are a little loose! In fact, 2 pairs I can take off without undoing the buttons  It's been 8 weeks since I started back at the gym and was beginning to lose hope that I…

Going to do it this time!
After realising at the start of the year that I weighed more then, than I did when I was at the end of my pregnancy with my daughter 9 years ago, something had to be done. I cut out the crap and lost 8lbs. Then a pretty bad asthma attack in February that put me in hospital made me realise that my weight is most definitely…
