Does anyone have the video link to those studies where people were underestimating the food they ate? All these links are great, but there were some in a previous thread that I cannot find. Thanks!

OMG, I want a Dunkin Donut Red Velvet Cake Donut now too... Was it worth it? I may fit in an extra workout today so I can stop and get one

75 squats! going running at lunch!

I'm doing push-ups, plank position and 30 day squats challenge to build up my strength. I also walk some days. I think I need to do some sort of exercise every day for me to mentally stick with it. Although I do take a rest day or easy day once a week.

1 TB coffeemate per cup of coffee instead of who knows how much... counting calories and watching my portion sizes planning out my restaurant menu choices in advance getting some sort of exercise in every day running stairs a few times a day moving more instead of sitting all day at my desk job

Great idea! Have to try these soon! I wonder if adding a touch of bourbon to the pumpkin ones would be even more delicious... :drinker:

I love my flavored coffee too although I am working on transitioning to less sweet. My two faves are Green Mountain blueberry coffee with a little almond milk and Timothy's cinnamon pastry coffee with coconut milk. Every so often, I get a craving for a skinny vanilla latte at Starbucks, but now they are getting to sweet…

I started a week ago Sunday. I'm going slowly as recommended and will do Week 2, day 3 tomorrow. So far, I'm feeling better and better and love the pace of the program. I plan to stick with it and repeat weeks if necessary. Great information! Thanks!

What a wonderful story and amazing progress. You should be so proud! I'm having the same problem in those 150's - weight keeps going up and down for the last 4 weeks but I know I can get through to the other side. Thanks for the inspiration. Exactly what I needed today!!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

T4L I'm excited to listen to these after work

I love food. But I also love being healthier. MFP is helping me figure out how to do both. I'm going to go out on my birthday and have fondue (for the first time in 2 years). I'm just eating less in the days working up to eat and am exercising more to make up for the calories! I have tried to find rewards for myself that…

Congratulations! You look great and obviously put in some hard work. I am on the same journey - same size and weight but looking to lose some more before all is said and done. And like everyone above, your costume idea and execution looks incredible. Great job!!!

Good luck to you and congratulations! Don't go too crazy with your diet pre-cruise. There is so much temptation to eat on the cruises that it can be a hard transition for you afterwards. Take the stairs and avoid the buffet!

Good luck to you! This is a great place to start. I started in June with my own *&^% moment realizing I had let myself go and had little energy to go anywhere or do anything. MFP helps teach you my logging in your calories - I learned that my portion sizes were WAAAYYY off and that I was putting on a ton of weight with…

Hi everyone, I'm excited to give this group a try. I am loving adding on new challenges and accomplishing them one step at a time! I also love another member's idea of a prize at the end of the challenge. I'm thinking mine will be a fitbit! That will give me time to save up for it and something to look forward to once I…

Me too... By the way, I just started running and I keep having shin pain. Is there a strength training exercise I can do to fix that? I used to run many years ago and remember having shin pain then too...

Great Job!

Great article. Can't stand that fear mongering and shaming of foods. Let alone the idea that our bodies can't process X food because the cavemen didn't have it?! They also didn't talk in complete sentences or walk upright. I have to disagree with the cauliflower haters... I love it roasted with garlic, although raw, I…

Fantastic work! You should be very proud

I have been making lots of breakfast sandwiches... alternate the breads you use - waffles, tortillas, rolls, etc; alternate the meats - turkey sausage, turkey bacon, canadian bacon, dare I say "real" bacon; with cheese or without; egg whites, with spinach or herbs if I'm feeling fancy... I also agree with breaking the…

Thanks for the website and other ideas... Great ones. I can't wait to try. I'm losing weight too but my arms are not getting toned fast enough for me. My boss commented that he could tell that I'd lost weight but that I really needed to work on my arms... I told him it was my goals that I was focusing on, not his. But he…

Awesome job!

This definitely works. I have found it so much easier. Now I feel like I'm in control because I'm more aware of the calories/value of the food I'm eating. I'm so proud to say that I've lost 31 pounds and am fast approaching my pre-pregnancy weight. I only wish it didn't take me 8 years to figure it out!

Gorgeous. Love your reminder!

I'd love to join too. And I like the small pedal bike idea! Thanks for that, although I may need to adjust my rolling chair to use it, I would imagine... :flowerforyou:
