I am so so so jealous of those of you who don't sweat much. I do, and I hate it.
-
I sweat like a boss, I wish it meant more weight loss! I didn't mean for that to rhyme.
-
Ummm...I agree with the OP. Everything he said is true, even if you don't like his delivery or his age.

I eat rice 3-4 times a week. Down 26lbs so far.
-
I gain at ovulation, and also at the start of my period. It's usually gone within 1-2 days of my period ending.
-
I like Shreddies and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

I love my Fitbit. It motivates me to get moving, which is good because I work a desk job and need to move! Several friends have one, and we have challenges every week, which motivates me even more. I started with a Fitbit Flex, but changed to a One because I didn't like having it on my wrist all the time.

I weigh it dry.

I just get the stuff from Costco. LeanFit I think? It tastes okay. I add it to water, almond milk, banana, spinach, and pb2 and drink it first thing in the morning. It keeps me full for 2-3 hours, then I have "second breakfast", which is usually eggs.

"Don't eat anything that has a television commercial." I see commercials for chicken, beef, water, fruit. Alright then.

Thank you! This drives me crazy. I don't understand why some people hear "moderation" and think "pizza, cake, cookies, chocolate all day, everyday".

I'm free to wander around as I please, so I do that a lot. I go to the bathroom, to the printer, or just walk around the office a little to get some more steps. I also have a gym in the building so I utilize that on my lunch break. But on days I can't get to the gym at lunch, most of my steps happen in the evening when I'm…

That is definitely not right...maybe email Fitbit support?

Mine is 14. So does that mean I have a fat neck on top of everything else?! Haha
-
I once logged "playing guitar" just to get my calories out of the red.
-
I have a Fitbit One and it's been awesome. I have several friends with Fitbits and we do challenges every week...my competitive nature has been amazing for my step count ;)
-
I just avoid the scale for those few days.

I've done both. I loved Weight Watchers but I now prefer MFP. The "free" fruit messes up a lot of people and I think it was a bad idea. But the reasons I like MFP better are: it's free, and I prefer just looking at the calories/fat/protein, etc rather than pulling out my points calculator to figure it out (call me lazy…

Calories and excuses.

I haven't tried the sauce recipe...but those Shirataki noodles are AWFUL!!!!

"Everyone knows that whole calories in vs calories out theory is bs". This was in a weight loss group I was in on Facebook. She then went on to complain about how she did a juice cleanse, lost 10lbs in 10 days but now that the cleanse is over, she's not losing weight as quickly. That kind of mentality was popular in the…

I am so sick of seeing the word "toxins" that I feel like screaming at it when I see it.

1200 seems awfully low for someone your size. I am 245 and eat between 1700-1800 and have been losing steadily. If you don't want to go higher because of your doctor, then I would at least eat back your exercise calories. The first few weeks, the weight definitely comes off faster, especially if you have more to lose.…

At a direct sales party (a company that sells cosmetics and also "health" type items) I was told by the consultant (who was trying to sell me on their "28 day detox") that I needed to cut out all these foods (wheat, dairy, alcohol, sugar, vinegar among many others) so that I could get my body "back to an alkaline state"…

People want a quick fix, and these companies exploit that. People who use it and/or sell it will swear up and down that it's great, it works, etc...but there are healthier ways to lose weight that allow you to actually eat your food and not cost you a fortune.

I used to, but had to stop because they turned into cheat weekends, then cheat weeks. It's a slippery slope, at least for me. Now I just make room in my day for things that would be considered "cheats" (though I don't call them that anymore). I will have a chocolate bar a couple times a week and make it fit into my…

First thing in the morning without clothes on. I don't weigh myself later in the day because 1). I don't have a scale at work. And 2). I care about what my body weighs, not what my body weighs while clothed and full of food and liquid. BUT like others have said, this is personal preference. All that really matters is…

A year ago I would have been offended by this, or had some sort of issue with it. But now, I know it's absolutely 100% true. I love it! And I think #6 is my favourite.

Not angry, but I do find it tedious sometimes.

Kraft Natural Peanut butter. Skippy is an acceptable second choice.
