It includes the calories you burn just living life as well as your exercise calories. So 2000 is probably somewhat accurate.

Absolutely love it.

I lost 63lbs on Weight Watchers with almost no exercise.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. But has he said he isn't supportive of you not getting a tummy tuck? That's not cool. It's one thing for him to agree with you about it, and support you in doing it...but being unsupportive of you not getting a tummy tuck is a different story.

My cheat days were turning into cheat weekends, and because of that, I was slowing my weight loss down to half a pound a week or less. (I'm obese, so that's bad!) So I had to rein it in.

But that would be about survival, not addiction. People who are literally starving would do anything for food because they want to survive, not because they are feeding an addiction. I hid behind the "food addiction" thing for years. I blamed my weight gain/inability to lose weight on it constantly. I do have…

That definitely seems high. Yesterday I did 11,000 steps and Fitbit only gave me an extra 430ish calories (and I'm obese). Hopefully changing it to lightly active fixes the problem!

Then maybe don't quote my post if you're not addressing me.

I haven't bashed anyone. I simply agreed with an opinion stated about the photo.

You would not be sedentary.

My Fitbit. My iphone. Chicken. Tea/Coffee. My Saucony Hurricanes.

Yes, exactly this. It's a ridiculous comparison.
-
It's unnecessarily low in calories. You won't feel fine for long if you continue to eat that little.

I have a desk job too. I work out at lunch.

Food scales will give you an much more accurate reading of how much you are eating. Measuring cups/spoons are great and absolutely better than not measuring at all, but they are not as accurate when it comes to solid foods.

I feel this way a lot too. I can't stand the way I look now that I've gained so much weight. And I struggle so much with losing weight. Some days I feel great and others I feel hopeless. Just keep going, you're doing great!

I'm up for work at 5:45am. I get to work at 7am and have a cup of tea or coffee. I don't actually eat until 9 or 9:30.

Oh okay, that makes sense. Thanks!

I'm in!

There are many resources out there so you can do Weight Watchers for free, so it doesn't HAVE to cost anything. (Unless you want the meetings, obviously). It really boils down to what works best for you. I did WW for years but just kept losing and gaining, losing and gaining (my own fault, not WW's). So I decided to move…

I have, and would again. I am set to sedentary, and my lawn is quite large and on a slope, so I work up quite a sweat doing it. ETA: It's a push mower, I only mow once or twice a month (husband does it the rest of the time) and it takes me 45 minutes to an hour).

I've made these, they're pretty good! A little eggy, but maybe next time I'll try them with peanut butter.
-
I don't disagree with you. I've never said I was addicted to food.

I quit a 13+ year pack a day smoking habit 5 years ago. It was extremely hard. It took me several tries before I was successful. But for me personally (I am ONLY speaking for myself, not trying to generalize), my overeating issues have been much, much more difficult to overcome. I have major issues with overeating. I eat…

I quit smoking on Champix (it's called Chantix or something in the states I think?) and have been happily smoke free for 5 years. I found the Champix really helped with the side effects (I quit cold turkey years prior but was ravenously hungry among other things and started up again after 10 months) but I just always made…

I am large framed. I have broad shoulders, wide hips (even when I'm not fat lol), a big rib cage, big ankles, big and wide feet. But I'd say average wrists. The high end of a healthy BMI for my height is 160 and I think that's definitely realistic. But the low end is somewhere around 130ish and I think I don't think that…

I've had mine for 2 weeks now and so far I really like it. It definitely motivates me to move more, which is a great thing.

The "eat right for your blood type" diet. I'm embarrassed that I got suckered into trying that one!
-
I can't get that here either! Just plain ol' Coke Zero for me.

Maybe go by your in laws scale since I'm guessing you would use that one more often? There's really no way to know which scale was "right", and chances are, they are both off. The scale at my doctor's office had my daughter weighing 5lbs less than the public health centre (5lbs is a big difference for her age/size). The…
