Wow, this is ridiculous. So your iron is such a serious issue that it's causing you health problems yet you won't take a supplement and your doctor tells you not to take it in liquid form because "it tastes gross" and can stain your teeth, even though there are several ways to avoid that (as suggested by another poster)?…

I find this really confusing too. I have a desk job, but make sure I get over 10,000 steps a day. I average about 15,000 because I walk my dog, and also work out on my lunch break. So it seems wrong to set myself to sedentary. But I always see here that because I have a desk job, I should say sedentary. When I chose…

Call me crazy, but I prefer being told the truth from people who know what they're talking about.

I have to agree with this. 15oz of cooked chicken breast is more like 700 calories.

January 16, 2016. Seems like a really long time!!! But I still have 68lbs to lose so I guess that's reasonable.

I love McDonalds. Love it. I am not a big Subway person.

They were for me. I started with a cheat day, which became a cheat weekend, which became a full on "off the wagon" binge that lasted...awhile. So for me, cheat days are out of the question. If you can control them, then more power to you! I will have a meal once in awhile (I've had 3 since January) where I will allow…

How long ago did you have your baby?

I have a Fitbit One to track my steps. I love it, and if you have friends with Fitbits, you can challenge each other, which is very motivating. I also have a Polar FT4 with a chest strap HRM for cardio. I really like it as well.

I've heard about this many times, and I know a lot of people swear by it...but just the idea of it grosses me right out.

It is unnecessary to be gluten free unless you have an intolerance or have been diagnosed with Celiac disease. Eating gluten free will not help with weight loss. A calorie deficit is all you need.
-
Measurements drive me crazy. Am I measuring in the exact same spot as last time? Am I pulling as tight as last time, or tighter than last time?? There's lots of room for error.
-
I started at a size 20, and am now down 34lbs. My clothes started getting noticeably baggier around 15lbs, but it wasn't until around 25lbs that I was a full size smaller.
-
Highest was 172 with a Polar FT4 chest strap. I don't really know my lowest, I think it was around 80? I only wear my chest strap for cardio and turn it on as soon as I'm starting and off as soon as I'm done, so I don't know what my resting heart rate is.

Detoxes are a total scam. Please don't buy into it.

I weigh after, mainly because with chicken, I cook it in strips or chunks and it's easier to weigh my portion after giving my family theirs. Just make sure that however you weigh it, you choose the correct option in the database. Don't weigh after but choose a raw database option.

I am an emotional eater. Unfortunately, suppressing your appetite won't fix it. You have to deal with the issue, and learn to deal with it without food. I've turned to exercise in times of stress and it really does help, and a lot more than food does. Instead of feeling temporarily better, then remorseful after stress…

I do the opposite. Breakfast is my smallest meal, lunch is a little bigger, and dinner bigger than lunch. 32lbs down and still going.

Does Wendy's still have the Strawberry Fields salad? I loved that one, minus the bleu cheese.
-
Yes, it's legit. I did one run by a former biggest loser competitor as well, and got my money back plus $12.

Still a smidge on the whining side.
-
Those already cooked rotisserie chickens that are always at grocery stores.
-
A friend used to sell it, and tried to get me to buy some. It's crazy expensive (here anyway) and I like to chew my food, so I wasn't interested.
-
When I had the Flex, it counted almost none of the steps I took when pushing a shopping cart, a stroller, or carrying my daughter around. I switched to a One (for a few reasons, not really because of that). But regardless, I would still recommend any of the Fitbit models to anyone, because even if they aren't 100% accurate…

You did it too?? Lol To be honest, I didn't realize they would explode like that either. I've never put whole eggs in the micro before.
-
She's a little bit ditzy. She was super embarrassed!! We were all quite shocked by it.
-
One of the girls I work with did this. She put 2 whole eggs in a bowl of water, put it in the microwave for 5 minutes and walked away. The explosion was deafening. People heard it all over the building. It blew the microwave door open and the glass plate inside (the one that turns as it's cooking) was laying halfway out.…

I'm sorry, I have to giggle at this typo. Tee hee.

Forgive yourself and move on. Plus a lot of that 8lbs is most likely water weight.

Condiments and sauces, yes. Spices, no. That's what I do.
