my garmin vivofit 2 runs on a watch battery (no charging!!!!) and I see no difference in my battery performance using the app.

We have veggie burgers or fish at least once a week. Veggie burgers make for an easy filling meal. I'll cut mine up tonight and eat it on a salad instead of a bun.

I have a Taylor food scale that i use daily. It has a TARE function which allows you to put your plate on the scale and zero out the weight so you are counting the food not the plate. Very important feature IMO.

I love the app Sworkit. You pick the type of exercise (cardio, stretch, strength) and how much time you have and a routine is created to fit the criteria. It's great!

My hubs and I love to take chicken thighs (so much more flavorful) and sear it with blackening seasoning in an iron skillet, set the chicken aside and good a green veg (broccoli, asparagus), and then finally add shallots, garlic and mushrooms. Cut chicken in to strips and enjoy. Keeps and reheats well.

Nope, which was something I like about them. I layer a 9x13 with parchment paper, spread dough best I can. Add another sheet of parchment on top to really get it spread out and even. The struggle is real! I solved this issue by wearing full panel maternity pants. I've lost 115 lbs and probably 15 inches off my waist. Down to a 14/16 in regular dress pants. Picked up a pair of full panel maternity slacks at goodwill on Friday. Gap, size freaking 8! I look proporionate and I'm super comfy.

I've done these in the past and enjoyed them. They are close to your criteria, but not perfect. There is a couple down sides. They need to be refrigerated. I fill out my diary the night before. I tweak it lots the next day (updating grams, switching ingredients ). It helps give me an idea where and how I'm going to spend my calories so I don't over do a meal and end up over for the day.

I can see how it would be a tough transition. I do count them. I try to always use the USDA entries and I believe they are generally more accurate, until you have a frozen package or something to use. Don't forget your cooking oils too, those can really add up.
