I just tried a new to me protein bar called Detour. They have a lower sugar bar that is 17g of carbs (13g of sugar alcohol and 2g fiber FYI). They are super tasty and only 170 calories. I get a box of 20 of them at Sam's Club for$17, so the price point makes me happy! Thought I'd share.…

This purely anecdoctal, but I usually gain 7-10 lbs after a couple very carb heavy days. I know that it comes off in a few days back on a deficit. I've done this a dozen times over the course of my journey, because, ya know bagels and such.

The only time I hot the pop up was when I lost 10lbs of water weight in 3 or 4 days. Mgp freaked out that I was losing too fast and prompted me to recalculate.

One of the junk blogs mentionRd eating thsee with frosting. Sounds spectacular to me.

I get the kroger brand of the lemon fiber bars and love them. I think the fruity flavor is much better than the chocolate ones.

That sounds crazy decadent and awesome. I <3 cream cheese!

Speaking of Warehouse store brand protein bars... has anyone had and liked the Sam's Club versions, I believe they are called Premier Protein Bar. We are getting a Sam's Club membership from my parents for Christmas. Sadly, there is not a Costco that is reasonably close to be to justify a membership.

I dropped my first 80lbs over the course of 6 months. I started at 300lbs. The next 40lbs has taken nearly a year. The last 40lbs will probably take until mid summer 2017. I had a "break/case of the screw its" for 4 months that has slowed me down. I'm back on a roll now!

I agree with chips/crackers are a tough one for me too. I ate a whole box of good thins crackers and was so peeved with myself. I immediately portion the whole box into snack baggies when I get it home now!

Sodium is so annoying! It's in processed foods and restaurants especially. Filling up fresh fruit and vegetables are going to be your best bet for reducing you sodium intake. Limit processed foods like frozen meals, deli meats, cheeses. All that said, it's not good for you, but unless you have a medical condition, it's…

I did one of these that wasn't company wide, just in my department. It kicked off my weight loss in 2015 and I won, losing 10% in 3 months. I've kept up with it since and I've lost over 100lbs. For me, that simple game was greatly motivating and has completely changed my life.

Thanks for the reply!!! If the BBQ is good that makes me hopeful that the ketchup is decent. I've been missing it lately, but not enough to spend the calories on it. Though, the BBQ might be more versatile..... hmmmm
-
@crazyravr totally random... you are my Walden Farms guru btw.... have you tried the Ketchup? Any good?

But do they taste like coconut? That's always put me off. I like coconut in Samoa girl scout cookies and that's it. :)

My current workplace rotation: - almonds and few dried cranberries(preportioned) - protein bars if I have extra calories or want something candy bar like - dried edamame beans. - If you have access to a refrigerator, I highly recommend cheese and fruit.
-
I wasn't super impressed with the base either. I wish they had used the vanilla bean base. I love it and feel like tastes the closest to regular ice cream w/o much "diety" taste.
-
Lately, almonds and dried cranberries is my evening snack. Dried edamame also hits the spot when I want something salty and crunchy in volume. If I'm in the mood for something sweet, I usually go for Halo Top ice cream when it fits the grocery budget. They have a slew of new flavors and I'm slowly making my way through…

Not a fan of oopsie bread, too eggy tasting for me. I personally like these much better. They puff up nicely and slice well. They make great sandwiches! http://www.findingradiance.com/2011/02/24/magic-rolls-eades-low-carb-comfort-foods/

I had joined a Facebook group that focused on being happy at any size, about a year before I decided to lose weight. I do feel like it helped me become more confident and happy in my own skin. Which helped me stay the course and have the determination to get healthy. I've lost over 110lbs.

Oh yes @fitmom4lifemfp !! I used Brummel & Brown's yogurt butter (45 calories per serving) and Aunt Millie's Light Oatmeal bread (70 calories for 2 slices). And of course a dollop of the walden farms spread. Less than 120 calories for major yum and satisfaction. It's good on sweet potatoes(tastes like apple pie) and just…

They fought for changes after getting slapped on the wrist. http://www.fda.gov/Food/IngredientsPackagingLabeling/LabelingNutrition/ucm500184.htm I still love KIND bars, I just don't see the reason to point out that the ingredient list is "pronounceable." It's a way to put down other, perfectly edible ( and dare I say…

Do you like cauliflower? My husband will "rice" a bag of frozen cauliflower in the food processor and put Italian seasoning and Parmesan and eat the whole thing for under 150 calories. (4 cupsish) Might be an option! Good luck. I find the smaller sweet potatoes in the bin, usually under 200 grams and that keeps it under…

Glad I'm not the only one annoyed with that crap. KIND does it too.

Worked like a charm!
