I usually tap the egg all the way around its circumference and peel around the middle first and work my way outwards. Good luck!

I usually have a snack at 4pm (protein bar if calories allow or fruit and cheese). This keeps me from being starving when I get home at 5:30pm and allows me to make sane decisions about dinner. Even when all prelogged meals, I find that I will go off the "menu" when I get home an am hungry. Good luck!

I love stroopwafels. Had them for the first time in Amsterdam. Just heaven. I compared these with the kind I get from the international grocery store near me. Not much difference in macros. But, if you don't have a international store to get them from, these might be worth a try. I'd go with caramel, since that's closest…

Have you considered metformin? If you can tolerate it, it can be very beneficial. Best of luck to you!

So yummy! I pulverized two boxes when they were 50% off with cartwheel.

I just recently came back from of a week of eating whatever I wanted. Up 15 pounds, 5 of which is already gone. I was really surprised with how quickly I wanted to get back to it. In the past I've gone off the rails and it took months or never to get back. You know what you need to do, consider it a lesson learned! In the…

Putting formula and slim jims/twinkies/kool-aid in the same sentence is *kitten* rude. I was unable to nurse and my son turned out just fine with a very healthy BMI. Get off your high horse.

Thank you for the recipe!

Those all sound like excellent ideas. Dill mixed with full fat greek yogurt or sour cream would be awesome with cucumbers!

Thanks!!

3.3 grams of carbs is loaded for you? How many carbs are you eating?

ok, I just looked at these on tesco's website. They look yummy! The no sugar added ones seem like a good option. Black currant? Yum, now I'm jealous we don't have this in the US!

salad or a sandwich with meat or fish, a fruit, and usually nut thins (almond crackers) for something crunchy.

Just finished the Lunar Chronicles and throughly enjoyed it. Sci-fi fantasy based on fairy tales. It's juvenile fiction, which makes for a quick read. Lots of fun!

I really like Blue Diamond's Nut Thins. Lots of varieties. I like the almond Ranch, almond Honey Cinnamon, and almond Honey Mustard. Very tasty and a serving is 130ish calories and substantial. http://bluediamond.com/index.cfm?navid=34

I love cheese in general for my second breakfast. I sometimes use homemade protein energy bites or fruit.

I'm a fan of cheese for this purpose. When I need extra calories, but not really in the mood to eat a bunch, I'll grab an ounce of cheese. I get the 16oz blocks of cheese, cut it into 1oz cubes and put in a container in the fridge. Easy grab and go! Also currently obsessed with these rolls.…

Just posted this in the cloud bread discussion. Made this last night super easy and yummy! Low carb, but relatively high calories 110 each, high protein though. Uses vital wheat gluten, so not gluten free. http://www.findingradiance.com/2011/02/24/magic-rolls-eades-low-carb-comfort-foods/

I was not a fan of cloud bread when I tried it. The egg whites confound me and then I didn't care for the taste. I just made these last night and was much happier with them. Also easier to make for me. http://www.findingradiance.com/2011/02/24/magic-rolls-eades-low-carb-comfort-foods/

My favorite easy meal is chicken thighs(six pack with cajun blackening seasoning) grilled in an iron skillet and then add a bag of steamable broccoli, saute shallots and mushrooms and put it all together. Delish, about 400 calories depending on oil and how much chicken you eat. You could probably get 2 or 3 meals out of…
