Height 5'2" CW: 225 GW: Less than 140 I don't have a goal date because I've done that before and been disappointed. I have a lot to lose but have set myself non-food rewards for every 10lbs lost or so. I don't want to be 'skinny', I'm not sure it's even possible for me to be skinny. But I'd like to be a healthy weight…

I've never had sharon fruit/persimmon. I can't bring myself to try one because I've no idea what to expect, or how to eat it.

I'm 28, am I too old? Put on crazy amounts of weight from too much pizza and cider while at university. Now paying the price, and trying to remove the damage. 5'2" CW 228 GW 135

Hi, I'm 5ft 2 and super overweight (over 16 stone). Could always use more short pals to help each other along the way :)

Hi OP. I know exactly how frustrating this is. I ran for about 6 months and lost an entire stone in weight. I felt so good about myself. I was doing the couch to 5k, and was on week 8 of 9. Then bam. I got pains in my shins. I had shin splints. Granted my shoes were quite worn. So I ditched the shoes and got a new pair.…

I need to lose 90lbs! Feel free to add

Go for it. If it doesn't work out, you can always shave it off. Just remember to condition your beard for your other half so it's not scratchy.

Yoga with Adriene on youtube is great.

Scottish living in Lancs. Happy to be friends with anyone in same area. Could always do with some more friends.

Running definitely shakes up the body a bit and encourages you to go to the bathroom. A couple of dried figs work too - and I mean a couple.

Could always use more friends that log in every day. I'm 28 and increasingly scared of becoming fatter. I'm 224lbs and need to lose around 90 to be borderline 'healthy'. Anyone with similar stats, similar weight loss goals, feel free to add :)

Hi everyone. 5ft 2 here and weighing in at 224lbs. My goal is to be around 135. It's a long road ahead. Anyone with similar stats feel free to add, we can do this together.

It's not my main drive for losing weight, but it does play a factor.

To all the people who mocked my earlier post. It must be so nice to be able to eat things in 'moderation' and mock others for not being able to control their diets. As someone else earlier said, I can't just have a piece of cake, I have to eat the whole thing. I can't just eat one penguin biscuit, I have to have the entire…

I think what the OP means is maybe refined/added sugar. The kind that's addictive and found in fruit juices, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, cake... I've been on a sugar detox a few times (I ate fruit to curb any cravings and avoid sugar crashes). Takes 2 weeks before you don't crave it anymore, but it is totally worth it.

You really don't want to go down the laxative route too often. Figs and all-bran over 2 days should help. Drink plenty of water, especially if you have been taking laxatives. You need fluid. Really hope you feel better soon.
