Yep, there are tons of us on here! North West England here. :)

Bump

^^ Ah but now you see that's, like, science, and therefore has no place here. ;)

Up your calories to a sensible amount, log everything, give it longer than 7 days.

Flying Goose sriracha for every day spicing up (preferably the one with extra garlic, but it's hard for me to find) Aunt May's Bajan Pepper Sauce for fried eggs (especially if they have a nice crispy edge to the white) Dave's Insanity Sauce if you have a death wish ... and over pizza I like plain old chilli infused oil

This is excellent advice, log it (no matter how ugly, my diary is sometimes ridiculous!), learn from it, move on straight away, don't let one binge turn into a week or month.

bumping for the yumminess!

Surely this was said in jest? I mean, if not, how sad that you'd not be 'allowed' certain foods. No, no, DEFINITELY said in jest! Egg mayo with lots of chives. On every salad. As a topping for crackers, if you eat those. If it's good mayo share it with your friends and family - how much of this stuff did you make?! :noway:
-
Oh, I think this is excellent advice...

Inconsistency, and complete disregard for portion control.

Oh please, the woman is an *kitten*.

Paul's idea is what I do if we're out with the dogs and I want to run for a while: I take one of them and run ahead, then run back; the husband doesn't even do quick walking and I get bored dawdling along.

Bezza, I'm first in! :drinker: Starting stats: 10st 13lb, waist 34" Plan for September is to finish Body Revolution (only 3 workouts left), then start combo of PiYo and kettlebell/dumbbell workouts, with a courteous nod towards cardio when strictly necessary (like running for the bus, or to get to the chippy before it…

Heretic! *clutches bottle of Gavi to chest and refuses to give it up* You'll have to prise this bottle from my cold dead hands! :drinker:

Apart from nearly making me snort-choke my chicken soup with the meatloaf picture, that is one of of my favourite success stories! A tremendous transformation both physical and mental, very well done you! :drinker:

This is good advice. It's never the yolk you withhold from the dog that makes you gain weight, it's thousands of excess calories you eat over a good while that makes you gain. Don't sweat the small stuff, look at the big picture. Oh, and I can never eat a full slice of toast with 3 furs drooling in front of me, I…

Currently NW England, where pants are trousers, knickers are women's undergarments and undercrackers are men's. Originally from Norn Iron, where pants are knickers, trousers are trousers, and bottoms are undercrackers. :ohwell:

It depends if you eat a doughnut or slice of pizza for each of the 35 miles.

Bump!

I've never had them on their own as a vegetable, but they're nice mashed or crushed with carrots as a side dish, or as Berry says, used to bulk up stews, casseroles etc.

Find a third option, take it.
-
I take my hat off to you, sir!
-
Yep, get a scale, weigh everything.
-
Nope, not on me, not on other people.
-
Definitely a difference, you're doing a great job!!! Yay!!!

The labels on the bakery shelves have all the info on them, jam doughnut is your best bet.

Hi, I'm 5'2", 45 years old. Started MFP at around 190lb. I thought back in 2011 that I'd want to be about 120lb, but now at 150lb I think 130 is much more healthy, and would settle for heavier than that if it's mostly muscle. Sometimes it's difficult to tell until you get there? :flowerforyou:

You've done great, Ruthy, fair play to you, bet you'll not want to do a single one tomorrow!! I can see a difference, and may I also compliment you on your skin tone, you don't have the faintest whiff of cellulite! #jealousmuch
