In the year of our Lord 2013
In the year of our Lord 2013, patriots of MFP, starving and outnumbered, charged the fridges of Officetown. They fed like warrior poets. They fed like MFPals. And won their food.

What's your predictive email?
A friend of mine had a bowl of cereal yesterday, but her phone decided to autocorrect it to a bowl of cervical. When I Swype my email address it comes out as wildebeest@fingernail.co.uk, what rubbish does your phone spout forth?

Fake it Friday!
How we feel about our appearance is often more important than a number on the scales, and one of the easiest ways to improve our appearance is to have good posture. Stand tall, shoulders down and back, stomach in, head held high!…

Feeling Fab Friday
This morning's weigh in showed a measly 0.2lb loss, really not what I'd hoped for, BUT I am determined to stay focused - what the scales say doesn't matter as much as what the body says... and it says I'm doing okay! So instead of beating yourself up about 'still stuck on XX pounds lost', I challenge you today to celebrate…

Helllloooooo! Anybody there?
Just fancy a chat about stuff in general. Have felt really bleh over the last week and a half with headaches, dizziness, body aches, lethargy and digestive 'issues'. None of these are conducive to me eating well but I think I've coped okay... I've gone right off my exercise though and really wanted to give Tae Bo a fair…

Does probiotic = wind?
A genuine question! I've been eating probiotic yoghurt the last couple of days and have had an enormous amount of wind - not necessarily embarrasing as I am a lone worker, but certainly uncomfortable. :blushing: I'm not eating it for any reason other than the fact it tastes nice (it's a vanilla one), but I'm not sure I…

Luncheon pictures :)
Here is my Friday lunch, egg and mayonnaise salad, tomatoes with oregano and olives, and cous cous with raisins, fresh apricot, chicken and coriander - all for 443 calories. What are you having? Please don't quote the picture but feel free to add your own! :drinker:

What did you give up for Lent?
I gave up wine for Lent - a silly, rash decision as I had St Patrick's Day, the first 'warm enough to bbq' spell of the year, and my birthday all within the No Wine For Lent period. But I only have 4 days left to go and it's not really been THAT difficult... sure, I've missed it and I'm salivating at the thought of a glass…

Dark chocolate fans ahoy!
I've just tried Aldi's Belgian dark chocolate with ginger and it's good. Really good. Special purchase at £1.29 so I don't know how long it's going to be around...

SO inappropriate!
An engineer has been in our office today and, much as I tried to get on with my work, he insisted on chatting and muttering away to himself. He somehow worked the very one-sided conversation round to when he got a hernia and one of his testes popped out through the hole. Really WAY more information than I needed to know.…

Biggest Loser (UK)
The new series starts soon, and I wondered how many people have seen a difference in themselves over the twelve months since the last series? I don't think I ever appreciated before how hard it is, I'm only 30lbs down over a year and it hasn't been easy, such a hill for those competitors to climb! I'll be watching this…

I have a darling client who brought me some halloumi cheese over from Cyprus, thing is it's ruining my diet, haha! Does anyone know if it freezes well, especially if I was to cut it into slices pre-freezing? Efharisto para poli! x
