Try eating a high fiber, filling lunch beforehand. Then watch your portions at the party. I've always believed it's not so much what you eat as how much you eat. Enjoy the party, just use a small plate and try not to graze.

Whenever possible breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Should help with the throat.

:-) Like it.

I hear this alot, but it's not completely accurate. You can be under your "goal" calories and still be OK. Alot depends on your metabolism, what foods you are eating, whether or not your execizing, body type...just alot of stuff. Now I'm not advocating starving yourself, but alot about a food plan is being comfortable with…

This is my story as well. I have taken it off and put it on several times. This time I want to keep it off too. Good luck and stay motivated! Add me if you like.

Try mixing it with marshmellow fluff. It increases the volume with only about 20 more cals and no fat. I also mix it with peanut butter (my achilles) and make a sandwich that doesn't blow my calorie intake.

I'm between Cincy and Dayton. I've been on the site for 8 months and love it! Awesome idea of group workouts!

All the workouts except the Yoga DVD are just about an hour. The yoga one runs about 1 1/2 hrs. Loved it when I did it.

Amazing!!!! I love it. I just started a few months ago, and i was hooked after the first class. What's great is you can go at your own pace, kinda. I guess what I should say is you can go at your own resistance. If your having a tough day you can keep your rersistance down and only you really know how hard you worked. A…

I just recently purchased a Garmin Forerunner 210 and love it. It comes with or without a HRM (mine is with). It tracks mileage, splits, as well as calories with the HRM.

I custom enter them. Depending on your weight it changes, I usually burn around 1000 cals for plyo.

I agree, take it easy the day or 2 before. As far as carb loading goes, you really need to carb load for a couple days to get any real benefit. And make it good carbs not just pasta. Good luck with the race and have fun!

Good luck on here brother. It's a great site I recommend to all the guys I work with.

I have a Garmin forerunner 210 with HRM and love it! It tracks calories as well as mileage. If your a runner or a biker this is definately a great unit. If you don't run or bike it probably is overkill and would be a waste of money. In the past I've used a Timex Ironman HRM and a Polar HRM and was pleased with both of…

I love shrimp tacos and have used raw and pre-cooked shrimp. Basicaly the only difference is you only need to "cook" (read as heat up) the cooked shrimp for a minute or so. I use Ole Extreme mexican tortillas (High fiber-low cal) add red cabbage and a mixture of fat free sour cream and diced chipotles in adobe suace. Found…
