have you looked at the C25K program ? im not sure the length etc but i hear lots of positive things about from the folks that have done it. personally i would just do what you can, it doesn't have to be a sprint. it is said that first thing in the morning, after using the rest room etc ... that way what ever you last ate should e broken down and disolved by the time you get up in the am. alot of folks weigh in wearing nothing but their birth suit hope this helps.

just stick with it and you will improve. i started in nov. doing about 10:30 per mile now i am averaging about 9:30 per mile using runkeeper. i was consistent around 10 min or so the took a couple weeks off and bam i dropped 45 seconds... weird huh ?

yes you will see more of a weight loss in month 2. alot of people do not see any weight loss until month 2. just keep pushing yourself, eat right and drink your fluids. I just completed insanity 3 weeks ago.

my wife has no clue as to what my workout goals are or how much I have lost. about all she knows is that I workout almost everyday, and that I am doing some running also. She eats all this processed food , which I can't stand. we have to make different trips to the grocery store for this reason.

i would give P90x cardio a 4-5 rating and insanity 8-9

if your doing cario that should be fine, but you could also add a day or 2 of strength training. strength will burn calories all day long and muscle burns more then fat
