just curious if I take a post workout protein drink is that sufficient or should i be taking a recovery drink of some sort also ? right now i have the intek nutrition protein powder and am really liking it.

just curious for those of you who are either doing P90X or doing so in the future. did you or are you using one of their coaches to help you along the program ? and if so how did you decide which one to choose ?

abs
just curious how much and how often should i be doing ab specific exercises ? currently i lift 3 days a week. usually MWF do 30 min cardio also on those days. then on T th S i do 60 min cardio. 30 min session followed by ab exercises typically 3 exercises of 3-4 sets 15 reps. then another 30 minute cardio session.

ok maybe its me but I wonder how someone can read a magazine or read a book on their Kindle or ipad etc ?? i do notice that some of these people are not sweating very much when their done with their cardio, but i guess thats just my perspective. i mean im there to sweat it out like a *kitten* in church.....lol not lolly…

does anyone know if you can count oolong tea as part of your daily water intake. i know there are virtually no calories,fat, etc etc

how much water ?
I know that I am suppose to get 8 glasses of water per day but if your working out etc, like most of us are doing is that really enough ? I am 5'10 212 lbs male, so just curious how much water I should be drinking on a daily basis. I normally drink between 10-12 glasses per day.

north carolina hiking
I will soon be going to North carolina for a couple of weeks for work. I will be near the wilmington,nc area. any one have any suggestions for a good moderate to strenuous hike while i'm there ? I have done a bunch of hiking there previously, grandfather mountain, chimney rock etc

so i just bought a new polar FT4 HRM it came with a chest strap which is suppose to be more accurate. my question is do I need to wet the strap before each cardio session, and if so how long do i need to soak it for ??

so on sunday I think, I purchased a heart rate monitor at walmart for about $38. tracking burned calories
I am curious how accurate are elliptical etc when it comes to the amount of calories that I have burned ? As an example when I use the precor elliptical trainer at my local YMCA for 50 minutes it says I burned around 625 calories. suggested calories
so MFP suggest that i consume about 2200 calories a day. i'm pretty new to this, but I have noticed that I am normally about 500 calories under that sugestion. do i need to consume more ? or is that just an extra cushion I have in case I need it ?? thanks James
