^ This. I developed Gestational Hypertension (sometimes called PIH) while I was pregnant. I was on 2 drugs for it by the time I was in my 3rd trimester. Since having the baby, I am no longer on any meds and my BP is not nearly as high - my highest systolic was 173 in the pregnancy - it has returned to much more normal…

My daughter flew with me for the first time when she was 5 months, and it was a breeze. She fell asleep during take-off both going and coming home, and slept a good portion of the flight each way. When she was awake, I found I didn't even really need any toys or anything to occupy her - she was very interested in looking…

Well hello there! I've been into pole for a couple of years.... started at Divine, same as you! I've been MIA for over a year-and-a-half having my first kid, but I still get on the pole at home some :-) You will absolutely come to love Divine, it is a great place to learn and grow!! Add me if you like! Oh, and I don't…

I've actually never had bison, but I'll look for it next time I'm at the store. Sounds yummy and like a good alternative to cut out some fat.

I've deleted for inactivity, EDs, or creepiness. Usually inactivity.

WOW!!! I love your transformation!! Congrats on the improved health and weight loss. You are a true inspiration around here! :-)

Lactation is the only *natural* way to achieve that, I think.... I've gained two cup sizes.... ....I made a baby and have been nursing said baby for over a year now. My understanding is that I get to keep the bigger boobies until I wean the kiddo. *shrug*

Great work!!! Congrats on the incredible loss!

LOL.... but who knows, with medical advances he just might live to be 120 :-P

Bell peppers. I eat a lot of 'em, though..... LOL. Peppers are my favorite veggie! Thankfully, they aren't very high in cals...

Thank you for this! I admit I've been reluctant to restrict calories while nursing.... seems like I restrict too far a lot of times and my supply dips. But the calculator says I can have about 2000. So I'll shoot for that.

Fantastic work!! Keep it up, your progress is very obvious!

^ This. 27 pounds in about 10 weeks is a lot. But 10-12 pounds in 10 weeks is totally do-able. I'd say shoot to be like 135 by Sept 1st... you can definitely make that happen! Hang in there. One day at a time.

LOL, yes, the dinner and flowers probably helped a good bit! Smart man. Keep us posted on how things are going. Oh, and this - http://flylady.net/ <----this site helped me get some chores lists together a few years ago. I don't follow all the guidelines and schedules, but it gave me a lot of ideas and just generally has…

I grew up close to Schaumburg (NW suburb of Chicago) but I live out in WA now! But I can totally feel ya on the rain... Seattle and all! :-P

Dear OP, I've been following along on this thread, after my previous post, making sure to pay special attention to the posts where you provide us with more insight about your wife and your relationship. That being said, I think I have at least a decent, basic, understanding of what your marriage looks like at a glance. And…

Well, I'm a stay-at-home mom of a 12-mo old, so I can relate a bit to your wife. My husband works long hours - he leaves the house before 6a some days and might not get home until 7. My daughter will typically nap about an hour-and-a-half in the morning and maybe 45 mins to an hour in the afternoon. Sometimes I use this…

I've been using a heart rate monitor for my 30DS workouts. I have a Polar FT4 monitor, I like it a lot. That way I know exactly how many calories I burn! :-)

LOL this thread is fantastic :-)

Eggs, nuts and fruit are great breakfast foods! AND CHEESE!! Some things I like to eat for breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese mixed in, a handful of red grapes or a small apple and a handful of almonds. I don't remember how many carbs grapes have, but you could omit that or just have only a few if needed.

I've been married to my hubby for almost 7 years, and we have one child who is almost a year old. Many of our peers (late 20s - early 30s) say that marriage isn't worth it, and are therefore choosing not to marry, but we disagree. We love being married and wouldn't have it any other way. Yes, the divorce rate is high, but…

I still don't wear make-up or heels to the gym, and I have no intention of changing that. I see people there in make up and "cute outfits" and honestly I don't see them sweat much. For some people, it's about "finding someone" or whatever.... but as long as they stay out of my way and let me get my work done in a…

I weigh every Saturday, at this point. So just once a week.

Well, you could make her pee on a urine test strip - the ones that check for the LH surge... Some women are more horny when they're close to ovulation. *shrug* fertility hormones and all. So... maybe look for a woman who's more easily aroused, LOL...

When I was working in the lab and on my feet for hours, I loved the Dansko shoes. They go with anything, have great arch support, and are fabulous for walking or standing!

I will add you!
