Good upper body day today. BB bench press Lat pull down DB Lateral raise Machine bicep curl Rear delt fly Machine shoulder press I never feel sore after workouts. I'm also steadily and progressively overloading. I eat maintenence to surplus most days at this point.

Today was full body strength. I forget how many exercises I did haha oh well. I hit all the muscle groups πͺ Gym was busy at 5a... surprising, a little, for a Wednesday with snowy streets π€·ββοΈ

45 minute walk today! Bust foot felt pretty good, I'm hoping it's on its way to recovery π€ Brrrrr it was 31F this morning... yay for fleece lined leggings π€£

No workout today. Modifications coming... had a doc appt with the sports doc yesterday. Pretty sure the pain in my foot is a "stress reaction"... the step before a stress fracture. Ugh. 4 weeks to hopefully let it mend! No more deadlifting or barbell squating for me for a bit... finding seated and lying variations!

Gosh I love the gym at 5a on a Sunday. It's usually dead. π January it can be different... but one day at a time π₯° Lower body today - experimenting with how to get it done at home! Yesterday was my regular early morning Upper body gym day.

Today I'm heading out to run a couple miles! I do 2 lifting days and then a cardio day, on loop. Cardio days are pretty low intensity. Full-on rest days sprinkled in. @AnnPT77 yes, I figured I'd come pop by the forums and see if any of my old friend list people are still around. Found a couple, woot :)

No weights today, had a nice short run out in the crisp weather! Felt good. Also, I miss the feed. I miss having an actual friend list π€·ββοΈ

Haha I didn't really have a choice today... no power racks at the gym is visited today. Only one Olympic bar and it was on the bench press bench π It was a test of will! :-P

Mostly worked Goblet squat DB step-ups Leg curl machine Leg extension machine Back extensions Hip abduction (outer thigh) Hip adduction (inner thigh) Smith machine squats BB deadlift Plus some easy treadmill time

Most recent NSV - looking through my lifting notebook (I'm old-school, still record my sets on paper) and realizing that I've gotten very consistent this year with my strength training sessions. That is a win for me :)

I am not a huge squat fan. I do them, but I enjoy deadlifting and bench pressing better.

Upper body workout done today. Strength: lat pull down, barbell bench press, DB lateral raises, seated shoulder press, tricep extension, bicep curl, one-arm DB row, rear delt fly. Cardio: 20 mins on treadmill, rockin out to my tunes :smiley:
