I just heard the word pizza and now I want some. Oh, the question... uhh... I handle this by enjoying the pizza. Carry on π

I go up and down my stairs probably 10 times a day. If I'm putting things away, helping the kids with the tv down there, cleaning up, etc... yeah i can easily do 10 flights a day. β€

LOL.... hcg is a hormone in pregnant women's urine. I happen to be a pregnant woman, maybe I should start selling my urine to fad dieters :-P Anyone will lose weight on 500 cals a day. It isn't sustainable, since as soon as you go back to the levels you were eating before it will just readjust. Couldn't resist.

I know the feeling. Baby #2 is due in July, and I never quite lost all of the weight I gained with #1!
-
Right there with you! I started this pregnancy about 30 pounds over, and now just trying not to gain a ton. So far I'm doing ok.

To lose 5 pounds of fat in a week, you would need a calorie deficit of 17,500 calories. (3500 = 1 pound, 3500 x 5 = 17,500) So that would mean a calorie deficit of 2500 calories per day. (17,500/7 = 2500) Which is more than a lot of people even burn in a day, which would mean they'd have to exercise each day and not evenβ¦

HAHAHAHAHAHA! This is fabulous. I've wondered the same thing about Paleo sometimes - where'd the cavemen get an oven and food processor?? Nice work sir.

I've gotten some pretty great workouts on random playground equipment at parks near my house. It's amazing what one can accomplish with a set of monkey bars, a bench, a slide, and a pole. :-D

Yeah, I'm thinkin this may be the case. Hope he got his giggles. The scenario posted is just not realistic.

Wait... you are 5'9" and have a 35" hip measurement? That is not wide at all. That is extremely slender. I am 5'2" and when I weighed 100 pounds at age 12-13 my hips were 36" with a waist of 25". 35" is extremely small for someone of your height... those are the hips of a slender pre-teen.
-
Have you taken measurements? Measure your waist, hips, etc. and see if there are any changes after 4 weeks. If you're lifting a lot you may be putting on muscle and losing fat, which means the scale may not move much. Just a thought!

LOL I love DDR. Haven't played in a while, but we do have the soft type of pads at home :-)

Great work sir!!
