My suggestion would be to start by filling out your profile. That gives members the opportunity to be more helpful. A blank profile always gives me the impression the person is temporary and won't be around long. Shirley in Oregon

I NEVER skip breakfast. I eat way more protein and rarely eat processed foods. Your diary is quite the opposite of mine. I would suggest you eat a protein breakfast. Say boiled egg, oatmeal, fruit. If the food has more than three ingredients think twice before purchasing it. Those processed foods you consume would destroy…

Measure and weigh every portion/serving. It worked for me and I was surprised at what I was logging as a serving was more like double the serving. Drink all your water and exercise more. Shirley in Oregon (Go DUCKS)

Loose him and you have lost over a hundred pounds. Put him on the back burner and concentrate on yourself. You have to really want it. Take all that attention your giving him and focus on yourself. You deserve to love yourself. You can do it.

Just the opposite here. Started at 212 down to 146.4 this morning. I truly believe I looked better at around 157 or more. But what is important to me is my lab reports. My heart really does not care how I look but how hard I make it work. Best to you all on your journey's. Shirley in Oregon

Reality is you have to want it....I get a little tired of hearing people say they are doing all the right things and not loosing. It is a math game...burn the calories and stick to a calorie intake. Whiney has no calories but does not burn any either.

Absolutely I do...I like to eat and I am a quantity eater. It's all a math game. If I don't exercise I eat 1200 cals. If I exercise I eat back the calories I have burned. Works for me.

When at home I would set the timer on my stove for meal and snack times. Never ate until the timer went off. Kept my snacks limited to fresh veggies. Increased my walking minutes every day until I was up to a minimum of one hour. Now I go far beyond that. Gave up soda pop. Increased my water consumption. Best to you and…
