I want to ammend my original suggestion to state that you should adjust your calories now. 1000 calories is definitely too low (assuming you are logging correctly and you really are eating only 1000). You've gotten great advice here, especially from MFP granny. Good luck to you.

If you don't get accepted to a team, I will team up with you. There is no way I can reach 40 miles per week by myself but I would love to be part of a team.

Start tracking your measurements if you are not doing it already. The scale might not be moving but you might still be making progress. If you measurements are not changing, consider revisiting your calorie goal after every 10 pounds lost. Your calorie needs will decrease as you lose weight.

I will occassionally do a work out in the morning and go back for yoga in the evening. I would caution you from trying too much too soon though. I have a personal trainer and he is worth his weight in gold. He understands my physical limitations but pushes me to work hard at everything I am capable of doing. I like the accountability and I like that he challenges me to try things I wouldn't try on my own.

I once got a giant Hershey's kiss. That wouldn't be so bad but the guy I was dating at the time had asked me to wrap three kisses so he could give them to the women in his lab. I'm going to make a goal of 40 miles for January. Thanksgiving and Christmas visits from my son sidelined my running plans the last two months so i am sure I have slipped a bit in my stamina. On the plus side, I did indoor rock climbing with him several times which uses a whole different set of muscles than running.

Tuck it into your wasteband when you do a stationary bike, rowing, or do any activity that keeps your arms from swinging, it will track your activity as steps. It feels a bit awkward at first but it works.

I used an app called seconds pro to build my plan when I first started. It was pretty easy to use and allowed me to play my own music but still hear the prompts to run, walk, etc. I'm not sure if that is what you're looking for but it was great for me.
