I don't know about "everyday," but someone did once tell me women shouldn't lift more than 20 lbs or they'll get hernias. I lift more than ten times that, but no hernias yet. Maybe my body is just a faulty model.

Do you know your body fat percentage? You may be fit but still need to drop some fat. If you are already fairly lean, you may need to build some muscle by doing a bulking cycle (eating above maintenance to gain muscle).

How are you measuring this? It's notoriously difficult to measure body fat percentage in a reliable way. How many pounds/kg are we talking about here?

Hip thrusters are magical. I saw more improvement in 10 weeks of those than in months of squats and deadlifts. Not to say squats and DLs aren't helpful, but hip thrusts really take it to the next level.
