ultimately it most likely comes down to your calorie intake. how many calories did you eat daily? did you eat back exercise calories? how did you estimate exercise calories? how religious were you about logging? are you talking 5 days a week or 7? 85% accuracy or 99%? what method did you use to ensure accuracy? weigh…

Mia speaks truth. There are a couple of things you can do (not necessarily to the exclusion of one another) 1) find something you love (as above) 2) re-define exercise and re-discover play -- going for a hike at a leisurely pace, snorkeling, paddleboating on the lake, playing catch, walking along a nature trail, all these…

This fear is something I know a lot about and something I'm passionate about getting over, for a number of reasons. Everything I would say to you I've already said here: myfitnesspal.com/blog/fivethreeone/view/3-actual-ways-to-overcome-your-fear-of-the-gym-756657

Hilly trail running is a totally different beast from any other running (treadmill, road, etc), and that's what TM is. I've done three TMs and the best advice I can give you is run very hilly trails and improve your upper body and grip strength.

Depends on how warm I am already and how taxing the workout was. I usually warm up with a few minutes of bodyweight movements in the sauna as a general warmup (with a little extra focusing on the areas I know are my sticky points), then barbell only before each lift I'm going to do before doing my actual workout. Afterward…

When I was a kid, I made all kinds of plans to run away from home. But there was always something that came up -- birthday parties, gymnastics lessons, summer camp. I was so focused on the beach trip coming up that I never did manage to escape past the end of my block. I think we all know what the lesson is here.

What I'm hearing is you haven't been consistent at a calorie allotment over a period of time. I'd give it a little while at 1500-1600, but during the transition period, if you are uncomfortable, you can definitely reduce the volume of foods you are eating. You could eat 1500 calories in vegetables and the volume would be…

Yep. When people go on a diet or consciously try to eat more healthy, there's also a psychological factor at work, too. Try eating TDEE-20% for a week and I bet you'll be surprised at how your appetite adjusts itself.

Some days I have resorted to eating peanut butter from the jar just to hit my calorie goals. A peanut butter sandwich is about 500 calories if you do it right. You just need to find something calorie-dense that will not feel like you're eating a ton of food in order to get it down. That said, 4-5 lbs a week over time is…
