  • It is a work out dvd by Jillian Michaels.. If you search ebay and sort buy it now and lowest first you can get it for about $8 or $9 including shipping.. I just ordered mine Today
  • My surgery was supposed to have been on the 5th of October.. My mother called them 2 days before and told them that I had a cough.. They still wanted me to come in the next day for pre-op testing. During the pre-op I told them that I had a cough, they even asked how long I'd had it and if it was a productive one (yes, it…
  • Granny smith.. I like the crispness of them, and I've always been crazy about sour stuff.
  • I just take a plate and put a thin layer of water on it, put the trimmed asparagus on the plate and sprinkle with salt.. Then nuke it for 3 minutes in an 800 watt microwave.. It is a quick 4 minute fix that can be a great lunch in a hurry
  • Wrong account (sis and I are both MFP'ers)
  • EXACTLY what I was going to say! Hiding food is a big red flag. It is like the druggie, or alcoholic who hides evidence of using. I babysit for an alcoholic, she hides the booze and carries the bottles out in bags until they can't be seen.. And to top it all off, she hauls the bottles off to work and throws them away so…
  • I just encountered this at FoodLion the other night. I was buying some beef heart and the cashier was like "you eat this?". I said yes so she went on a rampage. She won't eat chitterlings, pig feet, scrapple, any kind of fish, grits.. Etc, Etc.. And that was from a african american, in the south! I told her that I eat most…
  • Earlier I had 6 eel rolls from Hibatchi for $4. Smear a little wasabi on there, sprinkle a little soy sauce and top it with a slice of pickled ginger.. Pop it in your mouth and your taste buds will be happy :-)
  • Pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce are a MUST with my sushi. I can either buy about 8 pieces for $9 at kroger, or buy the same number of rolls, including pickled ginger and soy sauce for $4 at Habatchi.. Which is in the SAME plaza as Kroger
  • That is what I wondered about, should I wait or get it done now? But I'm leaning toward now, because I don't want to risk getting an infection.. And I don't want to end up in as much pain as I was in the other day.. I was really to the point of thinking I was dieing from something, and when the doctor said I was free to…
  • Thanks everybody. Hearing your experiences really helps. I know the surgery isn't a major one, this will just be my first time being cut open for anything. I had a burn surgery but it was external and I was about 3 or 4. I will be glad once it is over. I definitely don't want to be in pain like I was the other morning.. I…
  • Amazing, right??? I picked up a 34 pound box of cat litter and really struggled to carry it, then I realized that I have lost nearly that much.. You don't realize how much it is until you put it into perspective.
  • Chicken feet. Pig feet/tails. Goat, quail and rabbit (killed them myself, and butchered them) Beef and goat heart, kidney and liver. Roasted eel. Whole anchovies. Pickled quail eggs. Scrapple (pork heart, snout, liver, + some. All cooked and mashed with cornmeal) Beef tongue
  • Cottage cheese!!! It takes flavor really well. Black pepper and dried basil are great.. Or whatever seasoning you prefer
  • I don't think you used the calculator correctly.. That would be impossible. Fat has the highest amount of calories at 9 per gram.. So your calculations had to be wrong. It isn't possible for anything to have more calories per gram than fat does
  • I am about 5' 3 and weigh 239 and I'm usually wearing an 18, but sometimes down to a 16 or up to 20.. It really depends on how the pants are made, because I've got a big (but firm) butt.. So even when something fits, it fits my butt but I end up with a gap at the waist line. Prior to my weight loss I was in mostly 22's but…
  • 4 dogs.. Sally, 6 year old coonhound mix. Skip.. 5 year old LabXbeagleXpit mix Sophie 2 year old (Answers to SoSo) BeagleXBlue heeler mix Curtis 7 year old Beagle 4 Cockatiels.. Luie, Loretta, Lacey and Meanie. 4 ferrets. Lillian, about 5 years old. Ravi (male, age unknown), Lakota (female 3 years old) and Lucy (age…

  • Think about it.. I noticed your screen name.. I read your post, then I look at your profile. Think about OUR Father in the heavens.. Think about it for a minute. How do you think he would view that? It is seeking your own gain, not helping others. Our Father should be put first, along with the work he asks of us.. Others…
  • Too bad that doesn't apply to men.
  • Oh... And just a thought, if you go to an orential market you can buy tapioca noodles.. 3 ounces unprepared is about 100 calories, after cooking them you could cut them into 1" long pieces.. It makes about 2 cups cooked. You can put cheese sauce or shredded cheese over it and save a ton of calories
  • I did that kind of thing.. I went to Sam's with two friends, really only planning to get a half and half tea.. I opted for a half unsweet half splenda tea, but I ordered a cinnamon pretzel.. I figured, hey, I haven't had any lunch and this can't be more than a few hundred calories.. Nope, it was 550!!
  • I have a friend who is like thins with berries.. She is out for about a week or two when she has a bad reaction
  • Regarding the thing of growing a calve.. I don't know if you've ever looked at the calories in a carton of heavy cream over a gallon of skim milk.. Or like my dad had milking cows and seen the thick, thick cream that comes off the top after the cow is milked and the milk settles.. But all those calories meant for growing…
  • Mine was bad on sodium. Tapioca sheets (Same as rice sticks, but a lot less calories) With one sliced Johnsonville Chicken chipolte cheese sausage, sauteed with chili garlic sauce.
  • There is NO WAY that thing is correct... I have been wearing 42 D for quite some time now.... That says I'm a DDD That is IMPOSSIBLE!
  • Dried basil and black pepper is the best!
  • Even just some low fat milk and cheerios or corn flakes would make a good breakfast!
  • Braggs nutritional yeast is great.. I have a rice steamer and season the rice with yeast and salt (or Bragg's liquid aminos!) before I cook it
  • How is that possible??? Unless you seasoned it with a lot of salt
  • Cottage cheese is awesome with dried basil and black pepper!!
