I think that they're large, rather ugly egg-shaped devices that can do everything that someone's oven can already do. My kitchen counter just does't have room for something that big that only does one thing. I guess that they're a good way to burn $100.00 if you have it lying around.

I imagine that it would greatly benefit these if they were mixed in sparkling water vs regular bottled water.

Same here. I have IBS that likes to flare up preiodically, and their Primal Defense Ultra seems to keep it from happening too often. Whenever I decide to try and go without it for a month, I always end up with another couple weeks of digestive issues that usually end up resolving themselves when I finally break down and…

I buy a powdered one from time to time, but it's a vanilla bone broth protein concentrate that I use as a protein coffee creamer. I pay $40 for 20 servings (20 grams of protein/serving). $50 for 90 grams seems super high. :/

Tried the new Almond Joy hot chocolate at Dunkin' Donuts today (I had a gift card). It was really good! The smell was a little like Swiss Miss mixed with notes of Coppertone, but the coconut flavor actually wasn't all that artificial. The flavor was just a more of a milk chocolate flavor with a hint of a coconut…

To everyone that's tried the new Halo Top flavors: Kroger just sent me a coupon for $1.00 off a pint! Which flavor should I try? :D

I imagine that they exist so that you can buy a tub of frosting alongside them and spread on as much as you want.

I like the burgers from Hilary's Eat Well since they're made with just grains and veggies instead of soy protein. The black bean & adzuki and the hemp& greens ones are probably my two favorites. They're best when cooked in the toaster oven.

Bonus: If you combine that with Target's current offer of 25% off all ice cream, it comes to about $1.60 a pint.

I do, but I mostly just do that because I can't stand the idea of having my face touch something that's been coated in all kinds of germs all day long when I go to sleep at night.

Depending on where you are, it sometimes can be. In the area i grew up, fixing a box of Kraft Mac and cheese was considered to qualify as having made a home-cooked meal. I still astonish people when I tell them that you can make microwave popcorn by just putting plain popcorn kernels in a paper bag and microwaving it. Some…

I've learned that's it's better to just not mention stuff like this on the MFP forums. People are defensive about their Oreos and Pop Tarts.

OP, you don't look fat. You look borderline skinnier than average, in my opinion. In any case, you certainly don't need to lose more weight. Maybe look into recomp if you want to increase muscle mass and firm up some of what you consider to be your problem areas, if you want. Link:…

I might be one of the only people on MFP that honestly really likes Garden of Life. The only one that I've ever had from them that I wasn't that crazy about was their Vanilla Chai Raw Protein. Even then, it wasn't bad -- it just needed some sprucing up with a little extra stevia and cinnamon. Sun warrior makes some really…

I work at a locally-owned health-food-type store. One of the major perks is getting discounts on everything and being showered with generous gifts from adoring supplement sales reps.

Some of my favorites:

Work, because I get them 30% off there. :)

Coming from someone that sells supplements for a living, I'll tell you that 99% of people looking for things to give them "more energy" usually just need three things: 1) More sleep 2) Less stress 3) Less caffeine (sometimes) People don't like hearing that though, so I usually just suggest a good B complex (since most…

They make an organic version of these now? I used to LOVE the Non-GMO Project Certified ones before I went gluten free. But you're right on that the caramel isn't really like caramel. I compare these to more of a chocolate-y Fig Newton vs an actual brownie.

Mine never commented on it when I was overweight. If anything, she used to comment that my blood sugar was a little high, but she never stated anything about my weight. 100 lbs lighter, and now she tells me that I'm a bit underweight and that I could stand to gain a few pounds. I just go "Nope! I've worked hard to get…

In my experience, they can, but most just don't care. I always order my veggies to be steamed with no added salt/oil/butter/seasoning and they always come out greasy and pre-seasoned. Doesn't matter where I go. I suppose that restaurant chefs just don't care.

We just got these in at work this week: I haven't tried the BBQ or Sour Cream & Onion flavors (I HATE flavored chips!) but the Original ones are really good! They're just like Pringles, only they're gluten-free, don't have as many additives, and use a healthier frying oil.

These two:

They're delicious. My favorite is the almond butter filled one. It's like a Reese's tart, only with almond butter instead of peanut butter.
-
Where did you find those? I really want that yogurt! :o

I can't eat fries at most restaurants anymore because of cross-contamination issues, but I remember really loving the steak fries at Red Robin. Basically, they were almost like mini-baked potato stick. Only fried. And they were bottomless, so I could pig out on them as much as I wanted. I never liked the fries from…

I usually drink about 28 oz of it a day or so. I do make my own, but I must admit that I really like some of the local ones in my area. The place I work at actually has kombucha on tap, which I love. My current flavor of choice is one that's flavored with organic cold brew coffee. It really seems to help me with my…

Saw these in Fresh Market today, but I was trying to save some money so I didn't get one. Looks good, though!

That's why I think that a system more like WIC would be better. Ideally, items like cookies & cakes wouldn't be eligible either. I think that the reason why soda was targeted specifically was because it's one of the most common targets in anti-obesity campaigns and because the stereotype that all overweight poor people…
