Do it, you won't regret it. My entire 68 lb loss is down to the program. Now running 5k three times a week. It's gradual for first few weeks then gets a bit harder... But stick with it! All you need is a stopwatch! Though the fancy apps do make it easier.

Thanks to you all. In answer to the questions I've just been doing x3 5k runs a week (used the couch to 5k plan to build up to it), plus a short swim after each run. And then keeping to my calories on mfp. Simple maths really.. Be within calories and the weight comes off. The hard bit is the head part...ie, telling…

It's a brilliant program so stick it out til the end. I went from out of breath walking up the stairs to running 10k in an hour thanks to it. And all of my 58lb loss in past few months is due to running! Changed me from a slob to someone who enjoys exercise... Most of the time!
