I had a hot fudge sundae (small) from Dairy Queen with my 532 calories. That's probably not what you were thinking, but it was good.

Age of your baby and number of times breastfeeding makes a difference. When my daughter was 18 months I gave myself 300 calories. She is still nursing at over 2 and I don't give myself any. When she was an infant I ate at least 1800 calories.

Garlic is bad for you.....if you need some beneath the sheets time and you don't want to be solo.

You're calories should be no less than 1800 to maintain a good supply and make sure you get all you need. I always added it in as an activity. Good luck and happy nursing.

And I think the "personally" part is the most important part. I would rather have an awesome big dinner because I don't really enjoy starting my day with a full belly.

I don't like the way it me make me feel. I don't like cleaning up the vomit after my oldest daughter eats it. IMO the problem isn't so much the food (except for the really bad taste), but the portion sizes.

I eat the majority of my calories at night. What about countries that eat their last meal after the magic metabolism shutting down hour?

I should have checked the OP before I opened this. I am sure I should replace my high glycemic foods with Shakeology, right?

Fried rice isn't generally made with brown rice.

If you give or take 200 calories, then you are down to 1300 calories. That is not enough for a breast feeding mother. Your milk may not be compromised (for now), but you are taking from your body. Ideally you should be taking in 300-500 additional calories with a net calorie total of at least 1800. IMO your first thought…

SMH that it's okay to eat an Atkins bar or the like and question a banana. "If it came from a plant, eat it; if it was made in a plant, don’t."

I added another 100 on top of my maintenance setting. I don't eat all my calories everyday, but make up for it on the weekends. I lost another 1.5 lbs on the added 100, so I will go up again. Funny since I lost the 1.5 lbs on a rest week.

I upped my calories by 100 and lost another 1.5 lbs, so yes MFP's calories are too low for me.

I have a set of twins born via c-section (double breech) and a singleton born via VBAC less than 2.5 years later. The weight wouldn't come off until the twins were over one. Every time i tried my milk supply was compromised. After they turned one I lost the weight and the Mister must have thought I was pretty hot and we…

Purely anecdotal My husband's mother has had her stomach stapled and gastric bypass. She has tried the cabbage soup diet, not eating after 7 pm, low carb, no carb, and she is still overweight. On Monday I saw a bottle of HCG on her table half gone. When it's all said and done she will still be overweight because she looks…

The kids and I love when the Mister adds some eggs to our oatmeal. It's the best on a cold winter morning.

I like cereal, but don't generally eat it because it leaves me starving an hour later. Sometimes when I am craving a bowl I will have one as a snack at night. Why would it matter if cereal is eaten in the morning or at night? I mean do you limit tomatoes to dinner or a sandwich to lunch?

You have a lower BMI than 93% of females aged 30-44 in your country Global You have a lower BMI than 76% of females aged 30-44 in the world You're most like someone from Ethiopia. Hmm I am not sure how I feel about that.

There is a high incididence of obesity of people living in poverty. The single low income mother isn't going to have the time to prepare gourmet meals every night. However, she is in control of making some better choices. She needs to be taught those choices and I think that is where we fall short. NPR's On Being had an…

I haven't seen anyone held down and forced to eat a bag of chips, 14 hotdogs, a 2 liter of pop, and a cake.

Dinner is my favorite meal, so that's where i spend the majority of my calories. I ate 1000 calories after 9 pm last night. Do what you like with your calories.

Sweet lawd there is no reason to limit her calories BEFORE sunrise and AFTER sunset. ETA - I don't believe Ramadan says to eat 300-600 calories and deprive your body.
