^This gal has the right idea. You will not become an "amazon". Weight lifting is a huge compliment to conditioning exercises (running, biking, etc).

Sounds good golfnutqr, but that recipe takes oats from being good for you to no so good for you. Butter +buttermilk + whole milk? Keep it simple for steel cut oats. A 1:4 ratio oats to water works well. Take 1 cup of steel cut oats and add 4 cups of water and a couple dashes of sea salt. Let soak overnight. Heat oats to…

Ding ding ding. If you insist on punishing yourself, make sure you at least try steel cut oats. Much better than the mushy instant oats.
-
Flax seed tastes like dirt by itself. You can mix it in things to make it taste "better" though. That said, there are more effective ways to get your fatty acids in.
-
Tends to be or IS? Part of the reason I hate news. Not that I plan on eating one anytime soon.
-
Despite the arguing of facts, steel cut oats are awesome! Once you've had them, you won't go back to "instant/quick" oats. Great way to help get your fiber in.

I've used a few. USP Labs Jack3d - Amazing watermelon flavor. It is high on the stimulants so you will eventually have to cycle off. Definitely recommended. BSN NO Xplode 2.0 - Fizzy like alka-seltzer and tastes so-so (fruit punch). Didn't do much for me. MusclePharm Assault - Decent taste. You can taste the sucralose in…

Vitamin C. 4-6000mg will likely loosen you up. Just drink plenty of water as it can upset your stomach.

Pretty much it. I love it. I don't run barefoot all the time though. Just every now & then on my short runs. Otherwise, I've got my Sauconys on. :)
-
Don't worry you'll plateau soon.

Not to stray off topic... Running in bad shoes with bad form is bad for your knees. Kind of like lifting weights with bad form is bad for your joints. Neither exercise is bad for you in & of itself.
-
Are you sure you're counting them correctly? Homemade is a little tougher to factor in.

Exercise regularly. Eat quality food. Sleep more. Meal frequency can help with satiety too. As someone already said, try changing up your routine if its been a while. Or your water levels fluctuated. Which more likely than your metabolism changing every day.

Use H.I.I.T. to burn off the calories. Example would be 60 seconds @ 6-7MPH followed by 60 seconds at 3-4MPH. You need to make sure you stay in the target heart rate zone during the faster portion of the exercise. You will burn as much (possibly more) than an elliptical use H.I.I.T. Last night I hit around 460 calories for…

^Pretty much it. Gaspari Nutrition makes a really tasty shake as well (MyoFusion). It's a blend of proteins and tastes awesome even in water. don't go replacing your meals with these shakes though. You still need food.

At an extremely low calorie intake, they could give you bat droppings and you'd lose weight.
-
Over on protein is fine. That's simple carbs ONLY. Complex carbs do not cause water retention (actually can help shed water weight).

Great show. If you level it out over the week (as much as possible), it's probably not _that_ bad. The more recent shows he looks a bit thinner. I'd hope he's working out somewhat.

Steel cut oats hands down -> http://www.jefit.com/forum/showthread.php?6268-Steel-Cut-Oats Once you eat them, instant oatmeal tastes like mush.

A good B complex is worth taking. Get a decent timed release one. Or just get a really good multivitamin that's loaded with B's already. As far as the one with the rash, that's typically only seen with higher doses of B-3 (niacin). Then again everyone is different.

I wash the elastic band by hand after every use. I clorox wipe the HRM part itself as well.

I just clocked 12.2 calories dusting off my desk at work. You tellin' me that's not exercise? WTF!
-
If it gets you to drink water; go for it. Do your own research on artificial sweetners. You'll probably find as many "for" as you will "against". I personally just limit them in my overall diet. Mostly because I seldom like the taste.
-
I'd worry less about counting calories you're "burning" at work and more about where you can fit the gym in. Long shifts don't help for motivation, but you've got to commit. Make time for the gym. Most people burn very little while at work (even those on their feet all day). There are exceptions of course. All worth…

Congrats!

Skip it and just eat right. The weight will be back.
-
It's good. The wife uses it all the time.

Highly depends on the cut and what kid of diet you're doing. I eat steak for lunch 3-4 days a week. But I'm also not trying to lose weight. The cut I eat is round steak which is a very lean cut. It will require some marinade or tenderizing to be worth eating. And if you like it well done, it will likely be rubber.

A week off is nothing bad. I'd also use that time to re-evaluate your exercise routine/schedule. Overtraining won't help you at all either.
