Same.

Sleep however long you need to. Not everyone requires the same amount. 6-7 is about all I can do. My wife is at about 8-9. To answer your question; yes you need to sleep. Otherwise you'll die. So I'd suggest trying it out. ;)

Sensationalism strikes again. Will it ever end?

Glad you went to the doctor finally. Should be an easy treatment. That said, asking a bunch of people without medical training what to do isn't usually the best idea. ;-)

The cedar plank is an odd one. Wouldn't think the flavor would match that very well. Otherwise, line 'em up!

Those postings are no worse than this posting...

These kind of topics annoy me. These... ...and these... ...and this. Maybe they're on the last leg of their diet plan?

To paraphrase Rodney Carrington, "Once you've seen one pair ya pretty much wanna see 'em all". :) Ladies, guys just like boobs. We don't care if one is bigger than the other, if they're so big your back hurts, or even if the small & perky. Not really as picky as you think. ;)
-
Feel free to post pictures of said boobs and I'll give my professional opinion. :p

Cookies. I LOVE cookies. I keep none in the house for that reason.

I'm around 3000 calories a day if it makes you feel better... ;)

There's always casein. That will keep you full and it (can be) tasty.

Regular method is perfectly fine. Three of our four dogs all got the traditional method (the fourth is a male). They will give you pain meds. Truthfully after day one, they'll be back to normal. Puppies are resilient. FWIW, we never had to do the e-collars (cones). Try it without first and see how it goes. Our Great Dane…

Your stomach may just completely give out on you. It may not be able to handle any level of food. ;) How about cottage cheese? Maybe throw some peaches or pineapple on it.

200 Calories? You need to EAT. Not BINGE!

I love to run...outside. Not so much on the treadmill. Though for the next couple months, I will only be doing light cardio.

If it's shin splints, they could still be present. Did you see a doctor?

GNC makes decent vitamins. Guess it depends on what you're doing. The bottles typically say to take with food. So if you ignore that and get sick; kinda your own fault. ;)

Counts as water. Just watch what's in those packets. Might be sugar free, but may not be sodium free.

I use EAS 100% Whey Protein. I buy it by the 5lb bag at Sam's Club. They carry chocolate and vanilla. Buy a shaker. I use a Blender Bottle. Works great. $9 I believe. Whatever you get, read the label! Some powders out there are junk food in disguise.

Lean burgers will be dry when you cook them. The only way I've been able to kind of help this is using some olive oil. This is the same reason you typically use a ground meat with higher fat content (80/20 or thereabout) when making burgers. Keeps them nice & moist. Not great for you though.

Links galore in this thread. LOL Good stuff Just remember to get a light warm up of some sort in before you start stretching yourself out. All good ideas though.

How much time in between the water/toast & work out? Too much water will slosh around and give you that queezy feeling. For toast & PB, I'd make sure you give at least 30 minutes.

Peppermint certainly helps an upset stomach. That said, do not use it without talking to your doctor since it can cause issues.

The strength training you mention seems light to me. So I wouldn't be blaming that for all of it. As has been mentioned, your muscles will retain water. Watch your sodium intake like a hawk and drink plenty of water. Get a body fat measurement. While you're at it, get ALL your measurements. Use this rather than relying on…

Yep. He states that in the video as well. Claims the fiber + fructose helps.

I wake up at 4:30am 6 days a week to work out. You need to go to bed early and make sure you're eating right. It's tough, but it can be done if you really want to workout.

That's why I'm getting the rack. I can't push myself without the fear of being crushed.

Very long, but I agree worth watching. EDIT: Here's a shorter video of the same guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5-4FLA6rkw

I workout at home. Tends to fit my schedule better for now. Treadmill, free weights, bench, etc.. Picking up a full rack tonight or tomorrow. Can't wait for that! Really isn't much you can't do at home with simple weights. Here's a good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MDWh5HscxE
