Egg Beaters and a slice of whole grain toast or some yogurt

Good luck on your journey! Just stay committed and you can do it. Don't worry about length of time or the big picture, just take baby steps.

Welcome. Good idea, I did the same thing. I concentrated real hard on changing my eating habits and seeing the scale move down and waited until my body was ready to exercise. It happened in 8 weeks and I started exercise and the exercise combined with weight loss has changed my life forever :)

I finally discovered the key to losing weight for good with PCOS is to be sure you limit carbs and eat lots of lean protein. Eat 6 small meals a day and make sure each meal is carb and protein balanced. This is how you maintain a nice even insulin levels all day long that helps to burn fat.

It is an absolute necessity when trying to achieve a healthy weight and healthy lifestyle regardless of it being a new year. At the beginning of the journey definitely write out WHY you want to reach those goals. Be very real and explicit with yourself. For instance, for me, 1) I hate my legs rubbing together. 2) I want to…

If you are wanting to lose weight, why introduce them? I say continue off them until you hit goal, then slowly add back carbs. Otherwise, take it one week at a time. week 1: add some extra veggies week 2: along with the veggies, add a piece of fruit (this is on top of what you already eat). week 3: along with the above,…

You can do it if you are truly committed to getting healthy. Just focus on health and not the numbers so much. I would love to add you.

You need to see a gestational nutritionist. You should be eating 6 times a day to keep your blood sugar levels even.

That is freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost all my weight on MF and never went through anything like this. I did it via a health coach and just followed the program as outlined. I lost 19 lbs in 2 weeks and 40 lbs in 8 weeks, and it kept falling off.

You look amazing, and I know you feel amazing as well :) CONGRATS!

I think God creates us to be all different shapes and sizes. I say you should just focus on creating excellent health by eating to lose weight and creating new habits by replacing old ones that will last a lifetime. When you lose the weight, you could be at goal weight but still have belly problems..........At least you…

I say ditch all that, and just eat healthy. You cannot rely on those pills/shots forever, so may as well find a plan that you can live with forever and create health instead of possibly inducing unhealthy situations by feeding the body chemicals.

your body is just going to go into starvation mode real soon if it is not already there. That is where the body will not release any fat because it knows it is not being fed enough calories so it holds onto the fat to sustain. You need to eat 6 small balanced meals a day. Aim for at least 1200 cals a day. Even without…

Your sudden increase in weight today is probably from sodium more than from fat. if you eat a lot of the same things every day--try changing things up to get things going again.

Write down a clear plan of action including all your healthy goals. You can do it :)

I did it, so I know you all can do it. I just want to say if you really want it bad, you can and will do it. Take time to write down in a journal, the front page inset, WHY you want to get healthy. Be very descriptive. Don't just write "to be healthy." Come up with all the reasons why you hate being overweight. Every…

Nibble on grilled chicken. Why not? its better than nibbling on some unhealthy processed option :) Egg beaters Cold shrimp Having lean protein at every meal 6 times a day is an awesome option. Its how I did it :)

WHOA!!!! I am speechless. Kudos to you for maintaining your calm :)
-
Feel free to add me. Try to focus on overall health instead of just the numbers on the scale :)

hi yeah my diet at work is actually pretty good its when i get home after 6hrs with no break that i can eat anything and everything in sight!! [/quote] Why do you have unhealthy stuff in sight? if you are committed, you will only have healthy options :) If this is a weak spot for you, then have a plan of action for when…

You HAVE to have a strong WHY---a well thought out and well written reason WHY you want to get healthy. And then, after that, be sure you have a strong WHERE---use your words or Pinterest or create a vision board of where you want to be when you reach goal weight. What will you look like, what your life be like? what will…

Avoid processed foods, particularly processed meats or any meat, bacon, ham, turkey dogs, even frozen meats have sodium in them. Read your labels and compare, it is shocking. I always feel so much better when my sodium level is around 1500, when I get above that, I puff and literally feel miserable. Definitely use Dash…

show them what willpower is and prove to them that you have it.

naaa..my husband has been taking this for years, it never affected his weight.

Jimmy Johns has an unwich--without the roll. Subway, you can do a salad with a piece of plain chicken on it, no cheese, no croutons! Its possible, you just have to make changes and tweak things. Also, you can go to a grocery store and pick something up fresh as well, like a salad in a bag.

ummmm.......can you try to exercising self-discipline??? Exercise is great but should not be used as an excuse to eat unhealthy calories. Just saying :) Forget about the doughnuts. They don't need you, you don't need them. You will feel way better about yourself if you skip the doughnut AND exercise. Good luck!

I believe eggs (I use Egg Beaters or egg whites) are the most powerful for me, along with a little carbs from a slice of whole grain toast. And then for snack, maybe a few ounces of cold leftover lean protein and some carrots??? Its all about balancing the protein and carbs that keep us from getting hungry again. If you…
