  • I lost 20 lbs through eating less and doing more cardio, but I have stopped using the scale now that i'm lifting weights intensely for me now. I'm thinking i'll probably gain a bit, even though i'm gaining muscle and losing fat. thus I make sure to keep track with measurements, which are much more accurate. i'd suggest you…
  • that is amazing!! wow!! incredible!!! great for you, congrats!!!!!!:))

  • I can't. I really just can't. People can be so cruel. And young boys, no less!! I really just don't even have words for this. I just can't even imagine what can be going through these people's heads, saying stuff like that. I hope that someday you will be able to feel proud of yourself and your body to be able to work out…
  • Agreed, some can be far too forward. they've made me a bit frightened of men in general, to be honest :/
  • haha wow, my town is certainly not like that at all! we do have some runners, but not too too many. more often than not it is the bicyclists, who ride at the edge of huge shoulder areas, so I prefer runners lol.
  • i'm so so sorry that happens to you! those people should be ashamed. who are they to judge what you are eating and how you are exercising? ugh it bothers me so much to hear people say those kinds of things. that's definitely a great outlet of frustration at the comments though, to use them while you are exercising. keep up…
  • That's great that there is an area like that! A much more supportive environment, I am sure. wish all places could be like that. it'd be so much easier if people felt like they could exercise without being judged.
  • Wow, good for you! I feel like I look in shape on the outside, but I could never do a 5K, at least not right now, so that's really awesome. And your 43 lb weight loss is certainly quite an inspiring feat as well!!
  • Agreed!! it's so easy to just sit back and complain about something about yourself, but to have the willpower to go out and fix whatever it is you don't like...it's just so encouraging! I personally really don't like exercising, and there are things about myself I want to change, and seeing others do the same thing makes…
  • I see that as well, and it makes me so angry! And it's the same thing with eating I have found too...i'll see people make rude comments whether the person is eating a large bowl of ice cream or a salad...unless they want to say something nice, people just need to mind their own business.
  • Nope, completely genuine, but sorry for the confusion. it's so great to see people out there being healthy and trying to improve their lives, even though so many odds are against them, and it motivates me to get out there as well when i'm having a really off period.
  • You look fabulous, like a different person, and very healthy!! Congrats!!! And you are also a great example for your children - keep it up!:)
  • Thanks so much for your ideas and encouragement!! I think that water is a super big issue for sure. It's really difficult for me to drink enough because I really never feel thirsty and drinking more water still isn't as second nature to me as it should be. I've noticed a huge difference of being extremely tired with…
  • I'm not even sure if I do. I'm simply tired all the time and have a lot of headaches. but I feel like it's just all the refined sugars I eat, not necessarily the natural sugars and starches. Good thoughts, will definitely be adding in more yogurt and fruit, since I do really like both. Thank you!
  • I do think that'll help for sure. I can't imagine not eating fresh fruits and the vegetables I like that are on the do not eat list (carrots and potatoes) and actually sticking with it. I feel like so many nutrients are missed as well. Thank you! Thank you for your input!!
  • Yes, that really does seem to be the case. I think i'll just stick with eating more naturally. thanks for your response! I'm so sorry that happened to you, that is terrible. I can totally see why though, no foods that I like are on the 'okayed' list either. thanks for sharing your experience, good to know!
  • Thank you. That's what I'm thinking as well. It's probably a bad outlook to take, but I just feel that I would fail if I literally can't eat anything I like besides cucumbers. I generally think that doing things gradually is better than just taking absolutely everything out. I also don't like name diets that ask for money,…
  • haha yeahh, I wish I felt that way. the only time I find reaching calories difficult is if i'm feeling really sick to my stomach, especially sometimes after working out this is likely to happen, and then I don't want to eat or drink anything. otherwise, I find it a bit of a struggle to not go over because i'm usually…
  • these are all great ideas, thank you for the different perspectives. I really appreciate all of your help!!
  • you know, that's probably what it is, muscle stiffness. I don't currently have any medical problems besides slight b12 deficiency, so I wouldn't think anything has happened in the past few weeks since my physical. stretching is a great idea, and thanks so much for the link! I will most definitely be trying that, since…
  • thank you for the responses! I think I will keep eating it, with its good amount of protein, calcium and live active cultures. and it even has 2-3 grams less sugar than I thought, depending on the type, and it makes me more comfortable that sugar is not the first ingredient (it is after reduced fat milk and…
  • what I am going for is mostly definition. that does make sense for what I am trying to accomplish, thank you. also you look fabulous, wow!! I hope I can achieve your results someday!
  • Hmm that is a great idea. While I do know ballet requires a lot of strength, I never knew it would be even more than pure weight lifting. I'll have to think about that. Thanks for much for the info!!
  • I put a tbsp. of chia seeds in yogurt most days, and while I haven't necessarily felt any results, I love how they are a complete protein and have so many nutrients at a low calorie amount while having an extremely mild taste, but they are still completely natural.

  • Freeze pops are a good alternative:) very low calorie and low sugar, as they don't contain all that many ingredients.
  • Hello:) I have been on Trisprintec for about a year now, and that is the time when all my weight loss has occurred :) I don't know why, but I started exercising/eating less and better at the same time, but it did not hinder my results at all. I have lost about 20 lbs, and I plan to lose more and also gain more muscle. The…
