Since I'm not exclusively nursing I try to eat around 1600-1800 per day. When I was exclusive definitely 2000. I think 1200 is insane regardless of nursing or not!!! You can add "exclusively breastfeeding" in your food log, just like you would if you add a banana. Good luck to you too

Yep... right here. Maybe up your calories to something you can live with. My son is 9 months and I'm trying 1600.... if it's not doable will up my calories to 1800 and leave it there. Snack wise I'm not a snacker. When I snack it turns into a meal so I just eat 3 squares a day usually. Good luck!! I have 60lbs to lose and…

Right here!!! Struggling as well. Have a 9 month old still breastfeeding and whoa... the 3rd one has left its mark on this body. I'm getting back on the elliptical after this cold leaves and 1600 calories I have 60lbs to lose. You can do it! It's all about consistency, I've used this site in the past and it does work if…

Great question!!! I'd like to know too.

Not a registered dietitian, but have been doing low carb for around 3 weeks, I try macros at 70%fat, 5% carbs and 25% protein. I love it, my sweet tooth as left me and I'm much more satiated. Good luck!

Right there with you......I've become so desperate I've googled where to get motivation! I feel as though certain foods throw me off track for a while, and I tend to just eat too much every time I eat certain foods. I don't know but I understand what you are going through! My youngest turns 2 and I still have 25lbs holding…

HAHA about logging that! CPR is a crazy core workout!!! I can definitely feel the abs burning!!!

For the past week or so I have been waking up at 5a before my kids are up to use the elliptical, it is working out great. If I want to exercise later in the day than I have time and know my goal was already met and this is just extra.

Right here. Still nursing and she's one, the weight just does not want to come off this time around! Friend me if you want :) I try to workout and stay under my cals everyday!
-
I would definitely like to join :)

I understand the feeling. If you think of it as a lifestyle change and forgive yourself for where you are now it may come easier :) I try to forgive myself everyday and I tend to feel better thus wanting to eat and care for myself more! Best wishes!

You definitely look great at 200lbs!! Keep your head high, try to be patient, it will come :) I know when I start concentrating on the workout and food intake... and forgot about the scale, the weight tended to fall off. I'm hoping this will happen soon for me too (under the 200lb mark). Good luck!!!
-
over 200 too....its a hard battle!!! My baby just turned 1, so no excuses for the baby weight anymore!! Once you hit the 199 it seems to be smooth sailing from there...but its hitting the 199 thats the hard part for me.

I did the night shift deal for close to 6 months. It is extremely difficult to lose weight when working those crazy hours. I know if you are able to not eat to stay awake you will be fine!!! Earlier in my career I lost 40lbs by working nights. I had a schedule and did not eat out of that schedule good luck!!!

I've been trying to eat "clean", meaning no processed junk.....meaning no chips, crackers, cookies, etc, I have been avoiding carbs good or bad. I do allow myself something if I want it over the weekend. I feel great and am not hungry when I eat more fat/protein meals. Good luck!! And yes I think a lot of people have…

I no longer count it, I actually stopped at 6 months when she was fed food. When exclusively yes I did count it, and no it didn't effect my milk supply at all.

Its enough to be hooked to a pump to not want to drink cows milk!!! Can't imagine being hooked to my breast pump for hours at a time!

weigh in once per week. I tend to be obsessive with the scale so I'm limiting myself these days. Otherwise I feel its a way to "not care" about what I eat for the day if I'm up 2 to 5lbs, good luck! Find whats right for you.

Nurse here as well, def do not count work as a workout. Yes we are on our feet all day but does the heart rate get up enough to count? I don't believe so. Good luck on your journey! I try to work out everyday 30-45 cardio, recently have played with lifting but haven't counted it yet.

If you are a peanut butter fan add a tablespoon. It makes such a difference. I use natural peanut butter so still has some sugar but not a heaping amount.

that is a hard one!! lifestyle change for sure...and unfortunately sometimes group/friend change :( now I have 2 children, but was young when I had the first. I drank a lot before getting pregnant, unfortunately I lost a lot of friends during pregnancy/post pregnancy. Have you asked yourself why you are drinking too much?…

I started around 200lbs. I'm up to doing a 11.5 min mile straight, then do another 12 min mile. It gets easier, I started c25k about 2 weeks ago and have modified it to my liking bc I'm doing my 1st 5k at the end of october. keep going!!! i finally look forward to my jog/runs and that is a wonderful feeling!!
