My calories burned comes from my FitBit, so that may be a little off. But seems more likely culprit is from underestimating calories. And yes, I meant 2.5 lbs in 3.5 weeks not 1.

I'm not worried about my sex appeal. It's just a comic con type of event at a water park (confusing I know), which means lots of people taking pics so I want to be in best form for what's possible.

Will schedule one now. Thanks :)

Lol fair

I didn't drink too much but my body's been more sensitive since I started eating cleaner and working out. I have a kickball game today though so, as long as I don't drink there, that should be a light hour sweat.
-
I'm going to have to try that today.
-
That sounds delicious lol you just gave me a craving for mozzarella sticks.
-
I have yet to try the breast stroke, but I'll give it a go next time in the pool. I'm also thinking about trying the nose clips. If I can bike 18 miles, you'd think I could swim a .25 mile. :'(

It's open water.

I think everyone is right in saying that it won't help you lose weight. But if you're using it for fashion purposes or to accentuate your waist in certain clothes, then that's your choice as long as you're careful. As someone who dresses up and goes to cons, people use things like this all the time to achieve a look. But…
-
As a Doctor Who fan, that's awesome. We just need to start a weight loss group for geeks. I mean, basically, I use fitting into outfits at cons as my primary weight loss motivation at this point lol
-
Understandable. But to put it in perspective, I had very little fat and a 6-pack at about 135lbs.
-
I'm 185 at 5'4". I am fairly muscular, so I'm not HUGE, but I definitely am starting to look round. And thanks for the advice. And for those of you who have lost 2lbs per week, were you 100% strict on dieting and exercise?
-
Like the stats terminology =)
-
NOOOOO. Wanted to join :/
-
My goal is 135 lbs. But if I ever manage to get there, I might go over 125.
-
That's awesome and thanks!
-
Right now I'm doing Insanity and Couch to 5k. But before that, I was just doing about 30 min. of cardio and basic strength training.
-
I'm 5'4" btw. If that adds any information.
-
Great ideas! And I know one day won't kill everything, but I just want to make sure I don't throw off any progress. But I definitely have to keep in mind that they're will be a temporary jump in water weight regardless. Within the realm of cheese being relatively unhealthy, any cheeses that are a little healthier? And…

It sounds like you're at a perfect weight now. But whether or not it is unhealthy to go to 119 really depends on your body's framework. If you had a picture up, that might help.

Most whey either has dairy and/or Casein, so yeah, that's off the list too. Yeah, I've been trying to eat a ton of meat, but I have to be careful with that too because of fat and calories.
-
Yeah, again, I actually did the calculations. Essentially, I'd be netting about 1100 calories to lose 2 lbs a week, not 800. And that doesn't mean I'd be eating 1100, considering I work out too. I'd probably eating between 1300-1400.
-
I didn't know 2 lbs a week required crash dieting. I would understand maybe if I was thinner already.
-
I'm 5'4". And technically, I'm at the highest end of the overweight scale and bordering on obese.
-
I'm in if it's not too late!
-
Losing weight is my priority--not bulking. But I'm doing a lot of strength training intense activity, so I didn't know if I'd be negatively impacting my body by going without.
-
Hey, I'm Jenna. I'm about 178 lbs. My goal weight is 135 pounds, but I just want to lose 25-30 lbs in the 100 days. Things I'm giving up: -gluten (just started yesterday actually) -eating less added sugars -consuming less salt Things I'm adding: -more weight training -more water -more fruits/vegetables

800 calories for one meal. And yes, it did have avocados. It was a half sandwich and a side kale salad, and I was estimating the calories by typing the kind of sandwich into mfp--so it's not exact.
