every person is different. and i know your post is about coffee but my story is about diet soda(coke zero). march was a year that i gave it up. my trainer just knew i would lose about 10 lbs from stopping it in about 3 months tops. so i quit cold turkey did great like i said march was a year for me. i did not lose a pound…

well to clarify i only wear my asics when i'm running, never any other time. i bought some sketchers tone ups flip flops at a consignment store(didnt' want to pay full price if they don't work). i wear them around the house and if i'm going for a leisure walk with friends, i do feel they provide a bit of extra toning help…

i didn't know there was a difference either. but i have a pair of asics, bc when i was taking a boot camp class, i was interested in starting to run and my instructor/trainer said a great pair of shoes was key, and he reccomended asics. i haven't had any issues with them, so i will prolly continue to use them unless…

i've been stuck for almost 3 years!! i have changed my workouts up, i have changed my diet drastically, i hired a personal trainer, and i have stayed in the same range for 3 years!!!!! i want to be 135, but i'm afraid it will never happen for me! :(

well, i don't really have a "diet". i'm vegan, but i've had the same pesky 10-20 lbs hanging around for a few years, and even if i was going by the calories mfp says i should be getting, i wasn't loseing so as of last night, i have cut my calories down alot, and i started the couch to 5k along with the exercises i already…

honestly that picture does not look good. that lady does not look good in those jeans. maybe another pair. don't get me wrong i see lots of chunky girls in skinny jeans and they look adorable! that is just not the right pair for that particular lady

i thought mine would never go away either. i quit focusing on them, kept working out and eating right, and now they are gone. i don't know how long it took, or when it happened, i actually just noticed recently that i didn't hate them anymore, and then i realized that was bc i don't have them anymore. so just keep up the…

i agree 800 is crazy high for that! i would not log it at all then, cause you definatly don't want to consume 800 extra calories today, cause i'd bet money you didn't burn that many. trust me i know it sucks. i always feel like i should burn more than i really did after working out! but get yourself a more accurate hrm and…

i have some. i don't use it often cause i don't use sweetners often. its no calories, and it is natural, its one of the few sweetners that is vegan reccomeded. which is why i have it. lol. i wasn't aware it was banned in europe though. so who knows.

i quit DIET soda a year ago, at the time it was ALL i drank no kidding. i quit it in the hopes i would lose more weight, everyone swore i would due to the sodium and the fake sugar blah blah blah. i didn't lose one mealy pound! i have however been diet soda free for a year now. all i drink is water i just feel better…

everyones thoughts on this are different. i say no, i'm vegan and some days i consume alot of carbs(all good carbs), and i'm doing fine. yes i'm on this site to lose weight, but its vanity weight. i'm healthy, i'm at a healthy bmi, so my point is, that i consume alot of carbs and i am not packing on the pounds. i feel as…

i know what a fruitarian is thanks though lol. i didn't realize that there were that many of them, and they make supplements for all of the things they would be missing, but yes they would be taking in a large amount of carbs and sugar which is why the tooth decay being a issue didn't surprise me at all.
-
hey i just read his article, and first of all like i said i'm curious as to the amount of strict fruitarians there really are, and this is just me being petty, but he comment on some fruitarians eating romaine lettuce, thats a vegetable which would mean they are indeed not fruitarians. also the b12 and vitamin d problem…

well i have never even met a "fruitarian", i'm vegan and i know alot of raw foodist and even they eat more than just fruit. so i find it interesting, are there really that many people that live off of only fruit? i usually have around 3 or more servings of fruit a day, but i eat veggies and grains as well.
-
thats fantastic!!! it was hard for me to quit diet soda as well, so i know its a major accomplishment for you!! be proud and keep it up!! march will be one year since i successfully gave it up!
-
well, i'm vegan, and i make alot of my foods at home, and have trouble finding a ton of stuff in the database, so usually i just add the non vegan item from the data base(i'm guesstimating, and also i'm safe not going over cals cause there is usually a pretty decent chance that the normal version has alot more fat and cals…
