This is mostly bull. The reason that most of this occurs is because those that drink these types of drinks are already in the high risk category. The rat thing is interesting though. I may have to look into this. Anyway, I sweeten my diet coke with whiskey. Helps balance the taste!

My thinking is to eat only when you want but...you must eat at least 1200 calories a day. So I think that you should eat when you get up. Something like a peice of fruit and then again before bed.

Eggs are not bad for you. They are actually one of the better foods to eat. Easy to carry and lots of protien.

Bacon (about 90 cal), 2x eggs (140 cal), toast (90 cal). maybe add butter. Belive it or not, you can havea good breakfast and still not explode the calories.

For a change of pace, 2 hard boiled eggs. 100 calories each. Watch the salt and don't eat more than 4 a week!

My suggestion is don't worry about specific foods. Get a variety to include fruit and vegetables. The big thing to watch is PORTION! Vegetables are generally lower in calories per serving so you can eat a lot more. But you need all the vitamins and protein from a variety of foods. The big thing is PORTION PORTION PORTION!

I basicly eat whatever I want. I do restrict the amount or find a substitute for those "bad" foods but I know that if I don't have them at all I will eventually binge. Many of the Atkins diet snacks are good. Lots of fiber and protien. Reletively inexpaensive as well.
